What’s New in RideCheck v1.1
This update brings a better user experience, new features for managing your vehicle data and service history, and several important bug fixes.
Key Updates and Improvements
• Easier Vehicle Data Editing
Users can now update their vehicle’s brand, model, and year directly from the Settings page. Changes are instantly reflected on the Dashboard.
• More Informative Service History
• Service history now displays user-uploaded photos from camera or gallery. Tap the photo to view it in full screen with animation and blurred background.
• Service intervals are now clearly separated into “by kilometer” and “by month” for each record.
• Service notes are now limited to 15 characters for clarity and brevity.
• RoutineView Onboarding
When users open RoutineView for the first time, a clear explanation is shown at the top, helping users understand the purpose and benefits of setting up their driving routine.
• Simplified Settings
The “Routine Active” and “Daily Update Reminder” toggles have been removed from Settings for a cleaner, more focused experience.
• Consistent Tab Navigation
After confirming their routine, users are now taken directly to the Dashboard tab for a smoother workflow.
• Instagram Integration
The official Instagram link (ridecheckapp) is now available in Settings, complete with an icon and direct link.
• Removed OnboardingAPI Page
The OnboardingAPI page, which previously provided automatic component life recommendations, has been removed to streamline the onboarding process and simplify the app experience.
• Bug Fixes and Validation
• The Save button in Maintenance is only enabled when both kilometer and month intervals are filled in.
• Improved validation for notes, intervals, and year fields.
• Data refreshes instantly across Dashboard and History after any changes.
Notes for Apple Review Team
• No personal data is sent to external servers. All data is stored locally on the device.
• Photo upload is for the user’s private documentation only.
• No login, location, or sensitive data collection is present.
