Subscription Information
Skyden offers a free tier with 20 flight hours and access to all features. After 20 hours, a Pro subscription unlocks unlimited logging. Your flight data always remains yours — you can view your logged flights even without an active subscription.
Pricing may vary by location. Check pricing under Top In-App Purchases, or in the Store section of Settings. Your subscription is charged through your App Store account and renews automatically 24 hours before the current period ends, unless auto-renewal is turned off. Manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal in your App Store account settings. A subscription cannot be cancelled during an active period.

Airport search is smarter now, so you can find the right airport faster by code, city, name, or accent-insensitive matches before you log a flight.
New pilots now get a guided first-flight flow, so adding that first logbook entry feels simpler and less like filling out a full form all at once. Home also includes a setup checklist to help you add your first flight, license or medical, and explore the map.
Skyden can now recommend the fastest way to get set up based on how you already log your hours: starting totals for paper logbooks, import for another app, or the spreadsheet importer if you keep your records in Excel or Sheets.
We also improved map airport search, refined subscription prompt timing, improved empty map widgets, added a compliance FAQ, and made night-time calculation around civil twilight more precise.

If you fly EASA or UK CAA, your co-pilot appears as COPI, matching your official paperwork.
Instrument time follows your authority's format. FAA, TCCA, CASA, UK CAA and JCAB pilots can split Actual and Simulated on the same flight; EASA and GCAA pilots stay on a single line. FAA pilots: dual time can count as PIC when you're rated and sole manipulator.
Simulator entry is cleaner too. Only the toggles that matter on a sim, and you can now add up to 6 stops for longer training navs.
