This update reshapes ZenMode from a simple sleep utility into a fully-interactive, atmospheric “bio-interface.” The entire visual engine has been rebuilt on Metal, letting the app render every theme through a single ultra-smooth shader. Theme switching is now instant, the white-flash issue is gone, and the old wireframe effects have been replaced with soft procedural fog for a calmer, more natural look. The breathing Orb has also evolved - it now acts as a true 4-7-8 guide from the moment you open ZenMode. Its expansion, contraction, and haptics follow the full cycle, making it easy to settle into a rhythm with your eyes closed. Touch interaction: the background responds to your finger in real time [Pro only], parting the fog and creating subtle pulses of energy based on your theme. It feels alive rather than animated. To reduce battery drain, the renderer now pauses the instant the app goes into the background, and the architecture has been cleaned up to keep everything stable during long sleep sessions. - UI enhancements - Fixed a rare issue where an old alarm could still ring after deletion on iOS 26. If you hear an unexpected alarm, open ZenMode and stop the alarm-it's removed permanently. You can also use Settings → Reset Alarm System to clean up any stale alarms. If the issue persists, a fresh install of the app coming from iOS 18 to iOS 26will clear all alarms for a clean slate.
