Chat list redesign Rebuilt the chat list with iMessage-style rounded cards on a grey background; solo, group, and demo chats now share one consistent card layout and size. Added relative timestamp formatting (now / time / Yesterday / weekday / date). Group chat improvements Group cards show a clustered avatar of members, with the most recently active member emphasized. Group titles now display member first names ("Ajmal + Mike + …") or a custom group name when set. Added the ability to set a custom group photo (replaces the avatar cluster) and to remove it (reverts to the cluster). Added in-header group name editing. Header now updates live via document stream — name/image changes appear without leaving the screen. Expedia affiliate integration Place cards link to Expedia with affiliate tracking for hotels and activities. Messaging Send button now enables when media is attached even with no text.

SwiftSift is smarter, faster, and now helps you book — all from the same chat. Book on Expedia Discover a hotel or attraction through SwiftSift and book it instantly. Tap the new "Book on Expedia" button on any place card to jump straight to Expedia with your destination pre-filled. Hotels, aquariums, theme parks, and more. Smarter notifications Push notifications now show who sent the message. Instead of "New Message", you'll see "Ajmal: let's grab pizza tonight" — so you always know what's waiting without opening the app. App update screen When a new version is required, SwiftSift now shows a clean branded update screen instead of breaking silently. Send photos and voice messages without typing You can now tap send immediately after attaching a photo or recording a voice message — no need to type anything first. Typing indicators See when other group members are typing in real time, with their name and avatar shown in the chat. Bug fixes and performance improvements Smoother scrolling on place cards, fixed layout overflow on longer place details, and faster chat loading.
