What’s New Version 1.4.1
We've been busy behind the scenes improving the app for all users, here's what you can expect when updating:
- Alert reporting! This update includes a new way to report issues with alerts directly to the CAR team.
- Optional FIPS codes! You can now show FIPS codes alongside affected areas on alert pages.
- Search is more reliable, with better handling when clearing searches, loading more results, or refreshing quickly.
- If CAR is having trouble connecting, you can now jump directly to the GWES status page from the app.
- Notification filters now save more reliably across announcements, events, and locations.
- We've made additional UI tweaks for newer iOS versions and squashed bugs to make the CAR experience better for you.

We've been busy behind the scenes improving the app for all users, here's what you can expect when updating:
- Announcement filtering! You can now choose what announcements you want to recieve from the GWES team as notifications.
- Extra information provided now shows in its own section when viewing alerts (on supported alerts).
- CAR links now open in the application, giving you a clean look at an alert you received.
- We've squashed some bugs to make the CAR experience better for you.
Additionally, we fixed an issue where deselecting all events or locations would incorrectly enable them. Please review your notification filter settings to confirm they are correct.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes, and this update brings some major alert-level upgrades:
- Location Filters Have Arrived: Tired of getting alerts for places you’ve never heard of? Now you can choose exactly which counties you want notifications from. Hyperlocal = hyperhelpful. Head to Settings > Location Filtering to customize your list.
- Local Love: Your local alerts now have a cozy corner right on the home page, so what’s happening nearby is always front and center. This feature is enabled by default, but you can toggle it anytime in Settings > Home Page.
- Tap to View: Get a notification? Just tap it to view the full alert instantly. No more hunting, swiping, or wondering.
