Hello friends of Qewie! We're back with another update. This update addresses some bugs that were sent in, adds a new feature (Templates) and reintroduces improved scrolling. FIXED - No more contrast issues — The dynamic color algorithm that powers the Qewie UI has been rewritten from scratch to look great in all permutations. Thank you to all who wrote in! It may not be perfect so please screenshot. If you're interested in how it works, I'll be open-sourcing it on my github later today. - Logo masks breaking with SVG's — If you exported your QR code as an SVG and it contained a circle logo, it would lose its circle shape on export. This had to be re-written to adjust for how SVG's mask images. It works now!. Thank you, JG who filed this bug with me. - The "Save to Photos" button in the action sheet was exporting your codes as .jpeg which was causing them to lose transparent backgrounds. They now export as .png. No more white backgrounds. - Code Types now display in your collection view — Previously, code types were not displaying in the Collection but now they will. You will only see these on codes you save to your collection as of this update. I try to respond as immediately as possible to bugs send to me on X/Threads and email — So keep sending them! I'll fix it as fast as I can and give you a shout-out. (If you want it) NEW - TT and PL wrote in asking for the ability to use previously saved code styles as a template for new codes. Now you can! In your collection view, you should see "Use as Template". Just tap the button and you'll be transitioned to the editor with your previous styling. Logos will not appear as of now but they will in an upcoming release. - Improved Scrolling — The editor has been rewritten to improve the scrolling experience. Hello friends of Qewie! We're back with another update. I'm really excited about this one. Before I get into the details, I want to extend my gratitude to everyone for the support and feedback on the launch of Qewie Pro. It's been just over a week and the responses have all been heartwarming and productive. My goal for Qewie is to provide a best-in-class free experience as well as a premium version that you feel good about supporting. It's going to be a journey! So please keep the comments coming. They're all welcomed. Now, on to the update. Let's start with what was fixed. FIXED - When you opened the gradient color picker, your Qewie would change to the color purple when it appeared. Not fun. This is fixed now. - Another bug with the gradient color picker — when you released your finger, the color you selected would change its hue ever-so-slightly to a similar but different color. This bug and the one above it were fixed in v1.1.1 but I'm mentioning them again here because I should have explained the issues in more detail and I forgot to shoutout Qewie-supporter @CamTalksTech who notified me on X of the issue. Thank you, Cam! - If you tried to add a Contact to a Qewie, in some cases, the app would crash. This was due to an issue in how a Contact's URL was being handled. This is fixed and its because JB (@breitero on Github) emailed me and notified me of the issue this morning. Thank you, JB! I try to respond as immediately as possible to bugs send to me on X/Threads and email — So keep sending them! I'll fix it as fast as I can and give you a shout-out. (If you want it) NEW - JB (@breitero on Github) sent me an email (hello@qewie.app) asking for the option to have a Logo's shape be either a circle or a square. It was a good idea and it's now live. - Related to the above, when you add a Logo you'll notice an updated UI for styling it. The previous one wasn't as scalable for more actions as I'd hoped so I made a new one. LOCALIZATION If you're still reading, you've made it to the good stuff. As of today, Qewie is now localized for the following languages (excluding English): 1. German 2. Italian 3. French 4. Spanish 5. Japanese 6. Korean 7. Danish I've been overjoyed, and genuinely surprised, by the international support for Qewie since launch and I wanted to show my appreciation. For those of you in those locales, my hope is that Qewie will feel more at home and user friendly. This was a large undertaking but it was worth pursuing. Thank you all again for the support. It means a lot. I tripled-checked my translations as best I could but should there be something that seems off, you can file a request to update me in Settings. Fixes a bug with the color picker where the color you selected would be different than what you dragged to.

Hello friends of Qewie! Thank qew all again for the support since launch. This update is jam packed with improvements, fixes, and features that you've all asked for. This version of Qewie also introduces PRO mode - a paid tier of Qewie for those that need more pro features for their workflows, want more customization, or just want to support further development. When designing PRO mode, I tried to strike a balance between maintaining an amazing free experience, that I believe should exist, and providing power features to those that need so I can support myself and continue to work on Qewie. If I didn't get something right, please let me know! I'm @josephpalbanese on X and Threads. You can also send an email through the Settings page in Qewie. SO...what's new? I've been hard at work. Here are the details: WiFi, Locations, Contacts, and Text Qewies → You can now create Qewies for all different sort of reasons. Need to share WiFi but don't want to give out the password? There's a Qewie for that. At a conference and need to share your contact with lots of people at once? There's a Qewie for that. Want to share a random message with friends or loved ones? There's a Qewie for that. Custom Colors → The most requested feature from our Qewsers! This release includes a brand new color picker that was designed with all users in mind. Tap and hold on the color grid until you find the color that fits your Qewie best. Need an exact color? Qewie has you covered. Whether its HEX, RGB, HSB, HSL, or CMYK you can enter it into Qewie. Add a Logo → Add more personality to your Qewie by adding a logo (or any image!). Logo's can now be placed on your Qewies. I've been testing this and they look incredible. You have three options to adjust SVG and PDF Export → Need your Qewie to be on a website or flyer? Never worry about pixelation issues again. Qewies can now be resized to however large you need without losing any quality. Transparent Backgrounds → Sometimes you don't want a background! Qewie now offers a transparent mode so you get it just right. Thank qew all again for the support and feedback! I put a lot of time and energy into make this release as good as I possibly could. Hello friends of Qewie! Thank qew all so much for the incredible support and feedback over the last two days. This update addresses some bugs and feedback that were shared on X and Threads. Here is what was fixed or added (with shout-outs!) NEW! · Added a blue "Done" button to the keyboard to make you feel more confident that your qew-RL was saved (s/o Ethan E!) · When you airdrop a Qewie to your mac the file names are now more pleasant and include your qewie url (s/o @CiccaAndre on X) · You can now save a Qewie directly to your camera roll (s/o @barronethanint on X) · Qewies now have a 150-character limit. Previously we didn't have this and very long pieces of text were causing the app to be very slow. (s/o @aryamanawasthi_ on X) · Fixed an issue where if you dragged any of the pixel, corner, pupil, or eye sheets it caused them to expand the height of the screen. (s/o Ian C, @athirndesign on X and lots of others. Sorry if I didn't tag you!) · Fixed how Pupils, Eyes, and Pixels were being displayed in dark mode. That's it for this release. Hello friends of Qewie! This release is small but addresses some nice quality-of-life improvements to Qewie. Here is what we fixed or added: NEW! - Added the ability to customize your QR codes "Eyes". Eyes are the frames in the top-right, top-left, and bottom-left of your codes. In our last release, these could be customized via shuffle but not handpicked by you. Today, that changes! Enjoy. - You can now clear the text of the URL field with just a tap. Previously, you had to select the entire text string which wasn't a nice experience. - Thank you to everyone that has given Qewie such amazing feedback so far! We've now made it easier to share a review after you've created a few Qewies of your own. FIXES - If your phone was in dark mode, the titles for corner customizations (flat, round, extra round) were not displaying. Now they do :) - If the URL you added contained "https" or "http" and you tapped on the link in your collection, the url would not display in the browser. This has been fixed so your links work perfectly. - For URL's that contained a lot of characters, they would appear outside of the text box which didn't look nice. We fixed that.
