Description
The Transportation Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government has enhanced the layout and features of the "iBus Kaohsiung Bus Dynamic Inquiry System" App. This enhancement integrates various real-time public transportation information and improves accessibility services for the elderly and visually impaired people, offering more user-friendly transportation services. The new features are as follows:
Mode & Preferences: Provides "General Mode" and "Friendly Mode" for different users. "General Mode" is suitable for regular users, while "Friendly Mode" offers voice reading functions and an interface with larger fonts and icons.
Weather Information: Provides real-time weather and air quality information based on the user's current location.
Voice Reading Assistance: Supports voice reading services for the elderly and visually impaired people.
Public Transportation Information: Integrates public transportation services information, offering nearby station information, making it easier for users to search for what they need.
Real-time Bus Information: Provides real-time bus arrival time information by using quick keyboards, text keyboards, or voice input.
Arrival Reminders: Provides one-click setting for arrival reminders, ensuring convenient travels.
Trip Planning: Provides the best route planning, making it easier to manage every segment of the trip.
Accessibility Services: Helps implement a friendly transportation environment and bus services, providing low-floor bus and shuttle taxi registration services.
