What’s New Version 2.3.0
v2.3.0 is a stability and polish release focused on a smoother scavenger hunt experience.
SCAVENGER HUNT
• Item cards on the hunt map no longer get cut off on smaller phones
• Cold / Warm / Hot proximity status and the Stop / Not Here / Found It buttons stay visible while you scroll through hints
• Unlocked hints now display their full text (previously some still looked locked)
• Nearby-item notifications are cleaner and combine multiple alerts into one
• Stronger privacy on background geofence alerts — item locations are protected against cheating
LOGIN & BIOMETRICS
• Logout now properly returns you to the welcome screen
• Biometric login only prompts when a fingerprint or face is actually enrolled on your device
• Faster sign-in when biometrics are enabled — skip straight to the login screen
• Clearer "session expired" message if your login times out during a photo upload
RELIABILITY
• More reliable GPS with automatic fallback to your last known location if the current fix times out
• Smoother background performance for hunt alerts
• Stronger privacy protections for your personal information throughout the app

Active participation pays off! Earn feathers (our in-app currency) for every check-in, photo upload, and comment. Climb the leaderboard, compete in contests, and unlock prizes sponsored by MSU Denver and event organizers.

Join hunts created by student organizations and campus departments, follow clues and hints to discover hidden items across campus, and earn feathers for every discovery.
