National Orientation Agency (NOA) is an Agency of the Government that builds Nigerian communities through citizen engagement, on Government policies, programmes and activities The National Orientation Agency ensures that Government policies and programmes are well understood and embraced by the general public. National Orientation Agency, established by the Act of parliament Cap N64 of 2004, has presence at the Federal, state and Local Government levels respectively. The Agency’s mission is to consistently raise awareness, provide timely and credible feedback, re-orientate and mobilize citizens to act in ways that promote peace, harmony, and national development. The Agency’s vision is to develop a Nigerian society that is orderly, responsible, and disciplined, through the national core values of honesty, hard work, patriotism etc. The agency seeks to awaken the consciousness of Nigerians to their responsibilities in promoting national unity, commitment to human rights, building a free, just, and progressive society, as well as mobilizing support for government initiatives, and fostering a societal transformation grounded in democratic principles, national pride, and positive cultural values, creating a national framework for educating and orienting Nigerians towards attitudes, values, and culture that promote national pride and a positive national image.
