Escea SmartHeat

This version is applicable to Escea Electric and Gas Fireplaces which have a black remote control and are connected to Wi-Fi. Initially, with a Bluetooth connection, you can directly control your fireplace, turning it on and off, adjusting the desired temperature, setting automatic timers¹ and controlling certain fan and flame effect settings. You can add multiple fireplaces to the home screen and select each one individually to control. Use the Wi-Fi menu to connect the fireplace to your home internet connection, enabling you to control it from anywhere². Software updates and future enhancements can also be downloaded to the fireplace as they become available. For full functionality, the fireplace must be connected to Wi-Fi and have an internet connection available at all times. Even when using this app, the original Escea remote control supplied with the fireplace must remain operational in the same room (required for thermostatic control). ¹ Timer operation requires the fireplace to be connected to the internet at all times via Wi-Fi. ² Mobile device must have an internet connection available to control the fireplace remotely.
