Faster App Launch Removed the "Checking subscription..." loading screen that could hang indefinitely on slow or unreliable internet connections. The app now goes straight to the main screen after login. Safer Warning Defaults Scam and impersonator warnings now default to private admin DMs instead of posting to the group chat. Group posts triggered anti-spam bots that kicked users from the groups they were trying to protect. The group post option is still available as an opt-in toggle. Admin DM budget increased from 20 to 30 per session. Fixed Group Count Inflation The Shadow Alpha settings screen could show an inflated total group count (e.g. "630 of 1,338") due to duplicate entries in the group cache during startup. The count now always reflects your actual group membership. Fixed Stale Group Selections Shadow Alpha selected groups are now pruned against your current group list on launch. Groups you've left are automatically removed from the selection instead of persisting as phantom entries. Album Display Fix Photo albums no longer show a perpetual loading spinner for images that failed to download or were evicted from cache. Only photos that actually exist on disk are displayed. If all album photos are missing, a re-download is triggered automatically. Preview Message Alignment Scam and impersonator warning preview screens now match the actual message wording that gets sent, so what you see before confirming is exactly what recipients will read.

Smarter Warning Messages Scam and impersonator warnings sent to groups and admin DMs have been completely reworked. URLs embedded in scammer usernames (like "USD.AI") are now automatically neutralized so anti-spam bots won't kick you from the group you're trying to protect. Message wording has been softened to avoid trigger words that automated moderation bots flag. You can now warn about threats without putting your own account at risk. Scan Reliability Long-running scans like Shadow Alpha pattern detection no longer lose screen wake protection after a background/foreground cycle. If you switch apps or lock your phone mid-scan, the screen stay-awake resumes automatically when you return. No more scans dying to auto-lock.
