Simple Web: Assistive Access

Simple Web is a way for you or your loved one to more simply browse the web in Assistive Access mode. Setup a list of favorite websites for the user to view that take them right to the page you would like. There are no confusing tabs, buttons, or search bars. Add things you’d like to share with them such as a streamed event like a graduation or ceremony, sermons, radio stations, news, or other articles to help them feel more connected. KEEP IT SIMPLE Simple Web has been specifically designed to be viewed in Assistive Access mode and be simple for the user to operate. One helpful feature is the Start Over button that can reset the user back to the original web address to then try again if they encounter any issue. UPDATE FROM ANYWHERE Managing the primary user's device has never been easier. No longer do you have to go in and out of Assistive Access mode to change one thing. Share the Websites and Settings from the primary user to a managing user(likely you), to then add, edit, or adjust any settings using your own device. MAKE IT YOUR OWN Choose the title, color, and icon of the Website to make it memorable to the user. You also can give the user more or less controls to make things less confusing for your loved one. SHARE WITH MULTIPLE PEOPLE This app can be managed on the same device or remotely by multiple people. GIVE IT A TRY Use the basic version to test out the app. All sharing features are included to test and add Websites to see if this tool is right for you. The basic version is limited to only one website on the primary user's device. Upgrade to the full version on the primary user's device to unlock unlimited websites. Only the primary user has to purchase the full features. WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED If for some reason, something goes wrong and you are unable to add or edit websites, you can unhide the Settings button on the primary user's device by going to the Settings App on their device, scrolling down to "Websites", and turning on "Show Settings Button Override" to temporarily show that button again to fix anything. FAMILY SHARING If there are multiple primary users you can purchase the Family version using one of the primary users's devices and get a discount. The user's have to be setup as a family for this to work. You can then manage each user's websites individually. Basic Version - 1 Website to test out the app. Full Subscription - Unlimited Websites for $4.99 a year. FAQs Q: Who is the primary user? A: This is your parent, grandparent, child, or friend who owns and operates the device. Q: Who is the managing user? A: This is likely you or whoever sets up and manages the primary user's devices. Q: Will my web login information be shared with the user? A: No, your login info will not be shared. If a website requires a login you will have to do this on the user's device first. Q: What if I have already logged in to Facebook or other websites on the device in Safari? Do I have to login again on this app? A: Yes, logins are not shared with Safari if you have already logged in. It has to be done in the app. Q: Do I have to buy the full version for both the primary user and the managing user? A: No, the purchase only needs to be made from the primary user so that any managing user can edit websites without having to purchase the app as well. Q: Do I need to have iCloud turned on? A: This app can be used without iCloud if you aren't sharing the websites and settings with a managing user. Remotely managing websites and settings requires iCloud to synchronize devices. Q: What if I don't have an Apple Device? A: You can still setup the user as a single user and edit settings from their device. SOMETHING WRONG?
