DanceXR 2026.7 makes characters feel more grounded. A major overhaul of PMX model physics brings it in line with reference MMD behavior, resolving long-standing issues where rigid bodies and joints didn't move or settle correctly, so hair, cloth, and accessories follow motion the way they should. A new shape-matching soft body holds its shape far better under motion, and feet now plant on the floor physically — tilting and rolling to match the surface and keeping toes grounded. Free posing gains direct torso and waist control plus leg locking for seated poses, and we fixed a number of user-reported motion and FBX issues. An early, experimental hand-grasp system is also included.

DanceXR 2026.6 is all about hands-on control. A brand-new interactive posing system lets you grab and drag points on a character's body to set limbs directly, with clear on-body handles, depth control, and foot pinning. Underneath, a full-body balance system rebuilt from the ground up keeps characters settling, shifting weight, and swaying naturally, with better landing and hip-and-knee behavior. The chat assistant is smarter too, adding an assistant mode with voice commands and in-chat actions to search characters, switch characters, and change scenes. Fluid simulation and motion both look more lifelike, and an improved inherit-bone fix restores correct playback for many models.
