We fix some bugs and fasten up upload time for story!

This update makes the map and chats feel snappier, and polishes the places you use most. • React to moments from the map and on profiles • Smoother DMs and clearer notifications • Better saved places, place details, and map search • Fixes for stories camera zoom and profile layout

Map • Turn on map overlay in quick filters for a cleaner map: only unread latest updates show in a compact stack above Locate, with scroll and a soft fade at the top. • Tap an update to open it; moments, stories, and location updates you’ve opened stay hidden after you leave and come back to the app. • Place updates still reflect what you’ve already viewed on the server. Stories • Music on story upload sits in the top bar next to Cancel, with edit controls when you need them. • Smoother story compose: trailing controls, highlight info, and photo adjustment fixes. Moments & profile • Moment previews from latest updates use better-fitting media and let you tap the creator to open their profile. City chat • Simpler Tap here to send message and composer titles • Friend-request mentions and reactions look better in light mode. Chat • Send and preview videos in chats, with smoother playback. Places & Explore • Opening hours use the venue’s local timezone more accurately. • Faster place detail sections; Explore Events waits for the first nearby load before showing an empty state. • Map server unreachable notice auto-dismisses after a few seconds. General • Light-mode polish across map, Explore, comments, and onboarding.

We gave our search engine some Don Julio and a fat line in the bathroom… and now it’s flying. You can now search things like “cafes near me”, “restaurants in London”, or “kebab around me”. Give it a try
