Costco send an email saying view in warehouse savings for 16/3/2026 (tomorrow) - April but when you try to see the savings they only have the old ones valid to 15/3/2026. Why send the email if the app won’t show the new savings. Useless. The whole app is poor. No excuse these days especially from such a big company.

Things people may want to see on the app besides the membership card:
- proper catalogue of everything costco sells
- price comparisons costco vs the other supermarkets
- buy and delivery options to all areas around auckland with tracking in app
- supposedly costco doordashes which is advertised but not in all areas so that needs to be clarrified
- preorder for platters in huge bulk for events
- gas prices and discounts
- points added to membership to accumulate and use
- pickup services - order online and pick up

I joined and paid membership so I could buy online as there are no Costco stores in the South Island New Zealand where I live. I couldn’t have a look before joining so I joined then found out they do online in almost every country they have stores in but New Zealand does not have online shopping access. What is membership for. We will still pay and buy right.. prices are not so good. And some prices are still high when you compare with market prices.. does not make sense for membership. Dumb act been there twice only not going again.. i dont know why people keep buying from there big lines they dont even compare the price with anything just buy.. the items sells more the price is okay but the items sells less they are quite high.

A fancy version of a digital brochure.
There’s nothing noteworthy in the app other than creating a digital version of your Costco card (admittedly, that’s handy). The rest of the app is a based around membership renewal, department services and descriptions, updated fuel prices, and a digital brochure that shows several items that are on sale but offers little information on what else is available in store.
