Description

Get amazingly perfect green screen with Green Screener. For good chroma keying, green/blue screens must be extremely even, or fine edge detail like hair and transparency starts to become blotchy, which is the hallmark of bad green screen. Features: * See green screen problems with your own eyes using unique banding visualization. * Built-in chroma keyer and spill analyzer to preview composites live on the set. * Built-in color quality analyzer to verify if the color of a studio green screen, paint at the hardware store, or backdrops you're considering purchasing is good enough. * Works with all device cameras. * Free desktop version including to use with webcams or HDMI capture devices. * Works with imported images, and a built-in library of green and blue screen examples ranging from good to bad. * Works with imported backgrounds, or a library of backgrounds with a variety of lighting scenarios. * Zoom and position background. * Flip X and Y on both foreground and background. * Save snapshots of quick composites to the camera roll.

Maybe I am missing something, but not good for beginners
I am new at this, but the app did not help. There is no key or directions to tell me what the different colors mean, how to read and such. I had to find other people’s youtubes and then it still did not help entirely. If I could, I would return. It was coming in yellow, yet when I did a test shot, it worked perfectly. Maybe needs a check up…

Support helped me immediately get thru an issue the very same day! I see where some folks expect it to fill in the background with a photo... This is a professional light meter. It tells you where the hot spots are to adjust lighting. That’s all, and it does it very well.

Doesn't Work Well
Green screen was set up, lit well by multiple lights, wrinkle free, and easily able to key out in Premiere... Yet this app wasn't able to find a consistent color. The idea behind it was great and if it worked as described would have been very helpful. But nope. So basically this app was a waste of $10. Congrats developer, you scammed me!

Works as expected
Used it on a major green screen shoot over the weekend and it helped tremendously. I emailed the company that makes this a little while back to make sure this version was current and they told me if it’s on the Apple store it still works as it’s supposed to. This app helps make sure your green screen is evenly lit so you can pull a decent key from it. We used it in our green screen live stream and it worked extremely well.

This app is the best thing that you can buy to make you able to do chromakeying right. It returned its money in minutes. Seriously, this is the best. Please discard the reviews that say that it doesn't work. Those people did not read the description of the program. Excellent, PLEASE read before buying
This is an app to help you perfectly light up your green screen, THAT’S ALL IT DOES. This does not do any video work. It’s just a tool to check luminance levels all over your green screen. Ok, with that out of the way, this app is excellent. I would never try to set up a green screen without it, and would never shoot anything before having checked the green screen with this.

Total Rip Off!
There are no instructions given for using the camera. So even if you get the Green Screen portion to work properly there’s no way to activate the camera in order to use this product. This is a total waste of time, a rip off, and an exaggeration of use. Highly recommend that you save 10 bucks and buy a cuppa coffee instead of the stupid program.

Thanks for the iOS 11 update!
I used this app a lot until my upgrade to iOS 11 rendered it incompatible! Very happy to see it updated for iOS 11 because it I helps tremendously in getting evenly lit green screens which leads to very easy and clean keys both in post (after effects, iMovie, etc) or real time! (Xsplit, open broadcaster, etc.) To be clear this is a film makers setup tool. It is not for doing the filming/keying itself.

I just got my green screen. Its my first time ever but i learn fast real fast and i am here to tell you after 8 hours of trying to set it up i was ready to cry. so i did what anyone would do and got on youtube lol and after 15 or so videos i herd a guy talk about this app and im not joking 5 mins later im a pro... I am very pleased with this product
I started working with chroma key projects a while back, bought this, fooled around with it a bit, but really didn't understand it. I have since began to continue my work requiring green screen, took a deep breath, and watched the video a couple of times. I am trying to create a green screen in my bedroom...I have a very small house. Anyway, I was astonished, once I found out how to properly use it, how quickly I was able to get up and running with this. Lighting a green screen is really tricky in a small space, but I actually did it, created some proofs of concept, and now chroma key is not
