Description
The Daily Guru is an inspirational app based on quotes by Yoga master Swami Satchidananda.
These quotes are filled with wisdom and a practical approach to discovering your inner peace and living a successful life—regardless of faith or belief.
Select a day of the month to enjoy daily inspiration or swipe through all the 365 quotes of wisdom to gain insights into universal truths that help you live your best life.
Swami Satchidananda was one of the first Yoga masters to bring the classical Yoga tradition to the West. Invited to America in 1966 by iconic pop artist Peter Max, he taught Yoga postures, meditation and a compassionate vegetarian lifestyle. In 1969, he opened the Woodstock Festival and became known to an entire generation as “the Woodstock Guru.”
Swami Satchidananda founded the global Integral Yoga® organization, Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville® and the Light Of Truth Universal Shrine (Lotus.org). He is the author of Integral Yoga Hatha, To Know Your Self, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Beyond Words, The Living Gita and The Golden Present. He is also the subject of the documentary, Living Yoga.
