Love the app, but one BIG regret
It’s been my main go to password manager for years. I have one regret though. There’s no option to export the data in an easily recognized standard format like PDF, XLS, TXT, DOC, CSV, etc. It would be easiest to do especially for those of us who don’t have any pictures and all we have our passwords and some notes. And the fear is what if I do an upgrade and the app stops working on my phone & I have no way to retrieve my data. With the ability to do a back up to one of the formats above at least I have my data in a readable format. But you don’t give us that option which is very disappointi

I NEED help!! The original version of this app from over 8 years ago no longer works with the any iOS updates past 14.5. It’s a BLUE colored ipassword app. And that doesn’t allow any data type of backups to transfer to the pro version of the app. The passwords are not lost but I can’t open the app on my phone with the new iOS updates. Can’t trust this app | Stopped working on old version
Interest how the company held the same nap, created a new app, and never allowed the backup to happen on the switch over. Lost all of my data on passwords which I’ll eventually recover but no thanks to this company. They just stopped updating for the latest version of IOS and I am forever locked out because Apple will not allow access for a simple reason. It shouldn’t be to much to ask should it? Especially since this current one is completely up to date.

Please Update iPassword to Current IOS
I used a PAID version of this app for years that I was happy with, without a warning flag prior to a recent push by Apple for an IOS update the program just stopped working and now requires the developer to update in order to open. No help anywhere to be found. Apparently, there are thousands of people like me that have lost years of saved passwords and secure data and neither Apple or this developer are doing anything to fix. Both are culpable for screwing there customer … Very Bad!!!

UPDATE iPassword - Have some integrity
This app was previously called “iPassword” and has been changed likely because of all the negative feedback coming in from the fact that the last iOS update 14.6 will not allow you to open the app any longer. Note the copyright name on this app remains “iPassword.” Unfortunately, changing the name has meant that people are leaving bad reviews for the last few months on another developer/app with a similar name. You will lose access to your passwords!
Like many other reviewers I used a previous version of this app that is no longer supported in IOS 14.5 as a result I cannot access a decades worth of passwords and important information. Multiple attempts to contact the vendor have gone unanswered. Ask yourself one question before you buy this app, do you want to risk that they will do the same to you and your sensitive information?

Have been using this app for a while. It works well. But when I tried to backup & restore the data via Wi-Fi, I can use browser to download the data file, but the “restore” button doesn’t work. I run into the same problem both in Edge and Chrome.

I’ve had my ipassword 5 years and have all my passwords stored in there. With the recent update I am no longer able to access any of my information. The message that pops up is the software app developer needs to update. Nothing to do with Apple - Ipassword itself needs to update their app to be able to accept this update from Apple. Not Happy!!!
After years of using this app, it no longer works after the iOS update. Years of passwords and sensitive info is all gone. I even tried to buy the app again and restore my backup from Dropbox and guess what? It will no longer restore from dropbox. I’ve tried downloading to various old iPhones that don’t have the iOS update, and guess what? It doesn’t work. The app developer can’t be found anywhere. Not just by me, but by over 600 people online looking for a solution. This is ridiculous. I was very happy before this. Won’t someone listen and update this app?!

This is more about the old version, that is from this developer, but is not on the App Store. But can still be downloaded if it is in your purchases. IOS 14.5 breaks the app and this developer shows no sign of fixing it. His email does not work and he so far hasn’t replied to Facebook requests. Before it broke it was a good app. I’ve been using it for the last 7 years or so. I liked that it is local to the phone so passwords are always available. It is very versatile and flexible. Just wish I could use it again.

Hello This version of iPassword that I am using now I like it very much. But I believed there was another version of iPassword I started to use before this version. I used that version until I updated to Apple IOS version 14.1 after that my iPhone and iPad said the Arthur has to update the older version. The problem I am having I cannot open the other app and retrieve all the passwords that I have saved overtime. I am hoping you all can help me out on this. I LOVE this app! There have been many times that I do not know what I would have done if I didn't have this app. Since most of us have so many different logins and passwords these days, it's impossible to remember all of them. This app keeps them at my fingertips. I love that the app is locked so that if someone else ever uses my iPad they cannot access the valuable content. The format is attractive and you can choose from an assortment of logos to give each account a different look. The accounts are also alphabetized to make them easy to find.

Bad App only works with older iPhones
This use to be the best app. Since upgrading to iPhone XS Max this app does not work. I no longer have access to any of my password. I tried to delete app and reload, it lets you and then tells you to download the pro to continue. Well I already have the pro and it does not work. I seen this morning I had an update for this app and got excited that I was going to get all my passwords back. Well I guess I got to excited because my app still don’t work. Please don’t waste your money on this app if you have the newer iPhones.

Anyone who has lots of accounts with multiple passwords needs this app. It is easy to use and easy to keep your information organized. The only thing I would like is to be able to create our own emoji/picture for individual accounts. Some things like internet accounts do not have an emoji that relates to the account. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Thank you to the creator. I love that it is able to be backed up to the cloud!!

A combination of Face ID and 11.4.1 breaks this !
As several other folks have posted, 11.4.1 and Face ID causes this app to open the immediately close. It also breaks the iCloud backup link. Luckily I have a copy on my iPad Pro which still works with Touch ID. I have database backups on my home PC using the WiFi backup option. I use that to sync my database between my multiple IOS devices. I emailed the developer and am waiting for a response. Do not buy this if you have iPhone X until it is fixed!

Ipassword App Support (paid version)
Ipassword is an excellent app for storing all of your passwords and keeping them safe and secure to keep you from having to remember every single one of them! One thing I wish ipassword would do is come out with a desktop version of this same app and have it why you can sync from your mobile phone or pad to your home or office desktop computer, sort of like the LastPass app!!!!!!!!! This would also eliminate trying to remember every single password on your desktop at home or in your office at work!!!!!!!!!!!

LOVE IT! Simple and Effective
I been using it for about 7 years. Is simple and easy to use, yet I feel safe about all my passwords being protected. A good solution to today needs of having usernames, passwords, account numbers, other personal data, etc., for pretty much everting in my life. I always recommend to my friends this app. I have the paid version... totally worth it.

I've been using this app for years and would be lost without it. I hated it in the beginning, especially since it didn't sinc the free app with the paid one and I had to input all that data again but I'm glad I stuck with it.

Great app
This is a great app I highly recommend it been using it for years. Excellent for keeping track of your passwords accounts in logins. It’s also great for helping you keep your work passwords separate from your personal. Definitely give it a five star.
