The targeting is off, so I spent more time stabbing at the screen than actually strategizing. There is no polish to the game. The cut scenes have typos and reference the “stock” character name, not you. Why is there a garbage gem matching game baked into the levels, which has nothing to do with the game theme?

I love Roads of Rome. I haven’t played in a while, and all of a sudden, my games wouldn’t load. I was frustrated as I bought all 4. None work, which isn’t unusual for older games, so I assumed that they were out dated by the operating system upgrades. I play the game on an iPad Pro, with OSI 17.4. I bought roads of Rome 1, and didn’t mind paying for it again. Started playing and noticed a bunch of bugs. The one that makes me crazy is when I try to gather stuff from the farm, saw mill, gold mine, etc is very challenging. Unless you touch it just “right”? It takes time on each level t

Don’t bother- won’t work
Don’t bother- won’t work even if you finally get it to download. None of the Qumaron games are working iOS or Android. Check posts on the Facebook community page. Plus they are ignoring the problems. I have 17 of their games and none are loading/starting up now. So I tried to download several new one but they wouldn’t download. When 1 finally did it wouldn’t start either just crashed.

Have to purchase twice?!
I bought the first three Roads of Rome games and just went to download them again, only to find that I can’t restore them. Apparently the updated version appears as a different game to the previous version despite being the same game. So I either have to buy the games again or lose them. I am NOT buying them again. This is a great disappointment and something that others should consider before giving money to this company.

I’ve paid for every one of these games and now it won’t restore my purchase. I shouldn’t have to go through any type of hassle like filling out forms, which I’m sure that’s what they’re going to say to do if anyone actually gets back to me. Apple needs to stop these devs from doing this to players.

Price point too high
Game is okay, but quick play through was not worth the value. No bonus rounds, no opportunity for cheap additional levels. 40 is all you get, and they were pretty easy. This seems to run on the same engine as China Walls but is not as challenging or satisfying. I will try Roads to Rome 2, but if it does not provide more bang for the buck, I will look elsewhere for my next strategy game. Oh for more Royal Envoy.

Can’t finish level 32
I can’t finish level 32. The end piece for the road isn’t anywhere on my screen. This has been off on all levels for several things but usually I just touch near the edge and I get it. Not so with level 32. So I can’t finish the game.

I love these Roads of Rome games, just plain fun with one price to play all you want. Smooth gameplay, no glitches or crashes, no ridiculously hard levels (other than level 40, which really doesn’t matter anyway), cute characters and storyline, and no IAPs. Thanks for redoing this one for IOS11!
