Description
A streamlined, powerful, user-friendly unit and currency converter designed for use by everyone and built by engineering professionals! No dials to turn, no gimmicky interfaces, no need to type your unit... just enter a value in the unit you have and see the conversion for the one you want as well as others all at once. All laid out in big, easy to read text with an intelligent, customizable display system.
There is also a versatile Currency converter included in the app!
The app also includes a powerful built-in Calculator and a spreadsheet-style Mass Fraction/Mole Fraction Converter. Also included are a very useful Thermocouple module and a database of physical constants.
Conversions aren't limited to just one pair of units. There are 40+ different types of units currently in the app. Set your preferred units or most frequently used units for quick access to the data most needed. Don't want to see all of the units in a given category? You can reorder and hide units based on your needs.
The app is designed to accept mathematical expressions as your input! For example, if you need to convert 1 3/8 inches to mm, just enter 1+3/8 in the inches cell... and you can do far more complex operations as well! Detailed math help is available under Settings+.
As another bonus, we have provided a control panel that can be used to tailor the colors of the app to the user's preferences. You'll find this feature under Settings+. While you're there, check out the links to our other apps and find us on social media!

We've been working on new ways of using unit conversions in complex ways. We've added a 'Gas Constant Converter' to the Premium Units. Those who have already purchased the 'Unlock App' in-app purchase will receive this for free.
Three new unit categories have been added, including: 'Velocity (Angular)', 'Fuel Efficiency (Volume)' and 'Diffusivity'.
Fixed issues where some very large or small conversions would yield zero values. Thanks to @Calvincookieman.
Made the code more lightweight.

We've done a bit of housekeeping to streamline navigation through the app! Switching between the calculator, currency converter and premium modules is now much easier and faster through a toolbar added to the main interface.
Selecting/adding/removing currencies in the currency module is now much more efficient. We've also added conversions for Bitcoin, gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
We've also rearranged some features from the prior release. The NIST menu is going away (for now) and we've made Thermocouples and Constants into their own separate modules, which are now only available to users who have purchased the "Unlock App" in-app purchase. The Math Help menu has been moved to the calculator.
As always, we've made other bug fixes and minor enhancements.

We've added modules that utilize NIST standard reference data to the app! These include a really cool thermocouple calculator, values and symbols for over 300 physical constants and information on elements and compounds. For a limited time, these features will be available to all users After the next update, these new features will only be available to those who have purchased the "Unlock App" in-app purchase. We'll continue to add information like this moving forward as we make Engineering Unit Converter & Calculator a go-to source for science & engineering information and calculations!

In order to focus on improving the experience for all users, ads have been temporarily removed from the app.
Links to historical currency charts are now available in the Currency Converter. Just click the chart icon under the there letter currency code.
A descriptive detail label has been added for each unit category.
The Calculator module is now only available again to paid users, and can be unlocked via the in-app purchase!

A Calculator has been added to the app! And its not just any old calculator! Introducing the "Command Line Calculator". Use your keyboard to calculate values, but also to define variables and call functions! Command Line Calculator is unlocked as part of the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase.
Also, the Mass to Mole Converter is also now part of the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase. Those who have already purchased "Remove Ads" will receive the Calculator and Mass to Mole Converter for free.
We've also added an enhanced "Math Help" menu for everyone that provides an index of the functions that can be used as inputs in the converter cell and the calculator. Access this feature under Settings+.
An improved rounding algorithm has been implemented to better show calculated values in standard or scientific notation.
As in every update, we've implemented bug fixes and other minor enhancements to continuously improve the best unit converter available!

Customize the color scheme of Engineering Unit Converter to your preferences! Set the app to the colors of your favorite college team or whatever you like! 48 colors are available to mix and match.
As an incentive to remove ads from the app, we have built an interface that allows the user to control the appearance of the main screen and unit converter cells. Once "Remove Ads" is purchased, the color control module will be enabled under 'Settings'. Those who have already purchased "Remove Ads" will see this enabled automatically.

Lots of new features in 2.0! We've even added a few new unit categories.
New look, easier to read unit conversion tables. We've improved the conversion results to better balance the display between decimal and scientific notation as needed.
Units in each category can be reordered or hidden according to user preferences... keep the units you use most frequently at the top of the table or hide units you don't need. Look for the button on the top right of the table.

We added the ability to do math in the converter cells. Need to convert 1 5/8" to mm? There's no need to calculate 1 5/8 = 1.625 in your head first... Just enter 1+5/8 in the cell! Want to multiply 273.15 degrees C by 3 and convert to degrees F? 273.15*3 in the cell! Any valid mathematical expression will work, including constants like 'pi', 'rho', 'phi' and functions like sin( ), e^( ), cosh( ), sqrt(), factorials (i.e. 4!), etc.
