Frustrating
I tried to use the app today to fill up and take advantage of some in-app coupons for fuel savings. At the gas station, I had to use a couple different pumps, because the first pump would not work. Not the app’s fault, I know. However, when I went to a second pump, the coupons in the app didn’t stay clipped for me, and I didn’t realize that until I started filling up. When I cancelled the transaction to try to start over with the coupons clipped, I received an app message that told me that I have tried to use the app for fuel purchases too many times in a 24-period and to try again tomorrow. Excellent with one suggestion
This app is excellent and very stable. There are loads of exclusive gas discount offers and you get discounted gas prices on every purchase through the app. I wish you could put a memo line of input on each transaction or be able to “add vehicles” to better track spending on different vehicles.

Love DinoPay
I live in Coachella Valley, and believe it or not. Sinclair has the best prices out of all the cities so I’m very happy that I live in Indio and the Sinclair that I go to is just like four minutes away has the best prices has a lot of gas pumps. They even have racing fuel and this app super easy to use so now every time I go to the pump, I save money each time I pump gas and believe it or not the savings add up and a little bonus I like dinosaurs ever since I was a kid so it’s a nice view to see a dinosaur every time I go. Please fix: I recently noticed: Not sure why but the app is experiencing a gap or Sinclair is gaining $0.10 each gallon, I thought I was supposed to save $0.10 a gallon. Dumb as hell when it’s a Sinclair’s pump but at another company’s gas station
I tried using the mobile app at Sinclair pumps at a Stinker’s gas station in Boise Idaho and the stupid app didn’t register the pump as a Sinclair pump yet the app recognizes the location as Sinclair’s so why have Sinclair pumps at another company’s location if I can’t even get the 10 cent discount especially with how ridiculous gas prices have gotten nationwide??? Now I can’t even use the 10 cent discount for 24 hrs. Ridiculous, this is why I prefer loves over this poc company!

Mobile advantage a HUGE disadvantage!!
While I love to save a few $$ on gas, and enjoy utilizing the mobile advantage app. It has become a huge disappointment. I travel for work, and find that there are some days I may need to fill my tank more that 1x or 2x, sometimes 3x and most certainly more then 1x within the 1-5 day waiting window for my previous purchase to “clear the account” which it ALREADY had/has the very next day. It would be a blessing to have this feature meet up with the times and move in the future and become a rapid system like Maverik does!! Feeling Cheated By Sinclair App Change
I used to get $.10 off each gallon and it was on the Sinclair/cash side. Now they’re running a discount off of the right side price , which says credit card. Instead of getting $.10 off each gallon (which by the way went down to $.05 off a gallon), I’m now paying 15 more cents a gallon than I was originally paying. The only way I can really save is by getting the Sinclair credit card. I’ll check into this, but if there’s a card fee, I’ll pass.

Never works the first time!
The app never works the first time! I always have to go two or three times into the app to get the pump to actually pump. It cancels the activation every single time I’ve used this station and the app probably 30 times since I got it and only once has it gone through on the first try. This time, it canceled the transaction five times and I finally had to just use my credit card.

I hate how sometimes the app glitches and won’t let me do a transaction so I have ti try a couple times and end up saying that I have ti many requests to pump gas and I have to wait 24 hours when I need the gas at the moment not in 24 hours usually when this happens I have to drive to a different gas station chevron or 76 the app needs to be fixed also the to many requests shouldn’t be a thing as long as you paying why do you care how many times a day I pump gas

Be better if they weren’t greedy
I used to really enjoy paying with this app when it would take 30 cents off per gallon when you linked it directly to your bank account, but that only lasted about a year. Now it’s just 10 cents. Every little bit helps, but it’s disappointing. When it comes to the app it’s simple and easy use and it keeps track of the total amount you saved over the length you’ve had the app.

WORST FUEL APP (VERY BUGGY)
I set it up EXACTLY as their video instructed, but every time I try to use it at the pump, it always says there’s some kind of error. This last time was when I entered the pump number. It wouldn’t even allow me to put in my real birthdate during set-up. It only accepts today’s date in the year 2008. There are multiple bugs, and after three attempts to maneuver through them, it makes you wait 24 hours to try fueling again. Coupons do not work
Saw multiple get additional .10¢ off for Halloween coupons then would click notification, app opens and saying invalid. Check coupons tab, nothing appears. This is pretty constant and not sure if it’s becuase it’s not available in my area (Sinclair, WY to SE Wyoming) but would be nice to have a fully functional app.
Additionally the signage at the stations declare .20¢ off if using mobile advantage however only give .15¢
I’m open for explanations.

Phone numbers never work!
For sobbing out loud, fix your phone numbers. TWO of your gas stations have numbers that do not work. Greasewood and Steamboat in AZ. Recordings come on that are either silent or playing that stupid, “Hello…” prank. Very unprofessional. I even asked the Steamboat store clerk for the number and was told, “The owner doesn’t like giving it out”. It’s a business and doubt the person making this decision is the actual owner.

Just another company scamming the uneducated. Do a little research and you will realize their company and app operate like a Ponzi. They can afford to reduce your first 2 fills at a deeper discount followed by a reduced price for subsequent fills because they charge more per gallon than many stations in the area. Love the idea, but sometimes I have issues. It’ll say authorization failed or network issue (without explaining why, or sometimes falsely, because authorization actually succeeded), so I’ll try again, only to repeat the error, until I hit the limit on attempts (how many ever that is) and get blocked for 24 hours(!), which is super inconvenient.

Filter for stations is a disaster
If you filter for the seemingly redundant options of DinoPay, Mobile Pay, Pay at the Pump, etc, you can wind up with zero results, even though there will be many stations in the search area that match those criteria. For example, an unfiltered list of stations in an area will mark all the stations as "Mobile Payments." If you use the filter choice "Mobile Payment," it will show zero results.
The dozens of filter choices aren't alphabetized or in any sort of order, but in a disastrous jumble.

I downloaded this app because there is a Sinclair right around the corner from my house. I have to fuel service trucks-
The app will not work consecutively over and over to fuel trunks. So you may be able to fuel One truck, but the next truck 30 minutes or less later it will not allow you to Use the app.

25 gallon Max, why?
I like the DINOPAY app, but I find it very frustrating. When you run a diesel pick up and are pulling, a 25 gallon max per activation is a pain in the neck. Why not just leave it open to 100 gallons max? There are sometimes I have to do transactions up to three times to fill my pick up. Are you not in the business of selling fuel? so why the 25 gallon limit per transaction?

Point?
What is the point of this app? I have pulled up to two different stations now and it offered me no discount. One location of the three that I used it at offered 10 cents off a gallon and everything worked well. So 1 in 3, isn’t good in my eyes. Also the map that shows prices is not always correct. Also, lots of your five star reviews are complaints. I’m not sure how you managed that. This is a one star review. Unless we’re in a reverse world. This app needs improvement, regardless of the star rating.

I like dinosaur grass. Seriously. I find the gas quality and the stations generally clean and functional. Their app, and entire online platform for that matter, is better off left in the Stone Age. FAQs-terrible and inaccurate. App functionality-terrible. Ability to manage your account, delete an account-terrible. You can’t even change your email. It’s 2025. Are you kidding me??
