Notifying Way Too Late
Most of the notifications I get for “new” concerts that I’d be interested in come several weeks and sometimes months after tickets go on sale. The app should add shows before pre-sale of tickets. Fix this, and I’ll come back. Otherwise, great UX/UI.

Stupid move to partner with suno
I loved Songkick it was super helpful to find concert near me! Their recent partnership with suno has made me reconsider using their platform. AI music does not and should not be in this industry and anyone who supports them doesn’t not care about the art of music. Unfortunate Songkick has taken their side showing that they do not care for musicians and music with PEOPLE behind it. Do better Songkick.

the thing about this app is it continues to be a reason I discover shows, but it also continues to be a reason I completely miss shows I would’ve died to see because I was relying on it to notify me and sometimes it JUST DOESN’T. Since the app tagline is “never miss another show” idk how this can even be worth 1 star these days.

Not the most user friendly app
I track concerts in two metro areas - San Antonio and Austin, TX. I would like to set up the app so that when it opens, I see San Antonio. But no, I have to select a city each time I open. Recently, San Antonio doesn’t even show on my cities list - I have to go into my profile to select it. 🤨

This app is a great concept but it does not notify users in a timely manner. I had no idea about the Lady Gaga concert happening in Boston and by the time I was notified by the app, the window to register for the artist presale had already closed. What’s the point of this app if it can’t notify users as soon as the concert has been announced?

Doesn’t do it’s primary job
I constantly check to see if I have notifications on for this app because there’s just no way I’m not being notified to this extent of concerts I asked it to notify me for. And always I see that the notifications are on but the app just fails to tell you when the concert dates are approaching. I open the app sporadically and I’m always surprised by how many concerts are happening that I now can’t buy tickets for because I was not notified and tickets are sold out at that point. I don’t think I’ve attended less concerts in my life since I got this app which I thought was the opposite was suppos

I rely on you guys to notify me of concerts and when Paul McCartney announces a 3day show in New York you notify me on the 3rd day of the show when all tickets are sold out. Useless! I’m dreaming to see him perform and will travel far to do so and he comes to my city and I find out 3 days later. That’s the whole point! Useless :(

Middle of the road app
This app is nice in that it’ll notify you of artists you like coming to your area, links to primary ticket sellers, and generally is pretty good. However, it will randomly start tracking artists I don’t know/like. I assume it’s their attempt to recommend artists, but it is annoying as it can’t be turned off and fills my email with artists I know nothing about defeating the initial purpose of the app.

Love the app, but so many controls don’t work with Voiceover. Can’t delete tracked locations, or get to my current location to search concerts coming up in the next few days. Many controls are skipped over when swiping. Voiceover is the built-in screen reader in the iPhone for people who are blind, and also supports Braille. I think song samples on artist pages may have been removed. Marking interested or going doesn’t indicate when selected. Still best free app I know to find shows. Get a clue
I got a notification this morning of a tracked artist playing close by. I was puzzled knowing the artist Aurora Asknes is on tour in Europe. I went to the link to purchase and it is a different artist with the same name. Songkick still is showing a photo of my tracked artist next to this show. How can I trust concerts that Songkick recommends? Clearly there is no human reviewing these.

Calendar integration and reminds are so clutch
Super useful clicking the calendar icon and adding a show to your Apple or Google calendar. The reminders a week or so ahead of time are nice bc usually there’s still time to buy the tickets, would be nice if you could customize it even more to reminds you the day before or something, or maybe even a way to integrate w Ticketmaster or AXS and see if you have tickets (or you could mark bought tickets maybe). Cause sometimes I like to wait until last minute to buy tickets in case something comes up, but then it’s possible to miss it, and calendars apps aren’t that great about reminding you about

It would be nice to tailor ccommunications within the app so as to only to be notified of new shows, and not these persistent annoying things like are you ready for band x? I want to know if an artist is touring, but I don't want persistent reminders, but there's no way to turn off one type independently.

A shame
I used to love this app and use it religiously. Now I’ll receive notifications for shows but when I open the app and go to my notifications, they don’t show up and take days to update. The app still logs me out all the time too, although when I close it and reopen it when it does that that seems to fix it. This app is no longer reliable and I’ve been looking for other options to use to find shows and concerts in my area.

An absolute joke
App keeps updating and obliterating all data with no way to recover unless you do a full wipe and restore of your phone from a prior backup, this is if your information is out of date. However, once your information is setup you have zero capability to verify what you’re registered under or even any ability update it if your information changes. Support is woefully lacking, days on end it takes them to respond if they even respond at all and then they avoid answering critical questions altogether like how do I update my information? Search functionality is dead
I can't search for shows in different cities or for new artists. Nothing loads when I type in any amount of letters. Also when I CAN manage to search for a specific date, it's not the right date. It's a day off (searching for June 1 but it displays June 2 but also some June 1 shows?) Buggy.

I’ll probably been using Songkick for three or four years. I got a notification that one of my tracked artist was playing, but when I open the app it’s like it’s been wiped clean. I’ve been carefully tracking and removing artists & cities for several years at this point, and now everything I had in the app is lost. The app got a complete refresh. The interface isn’t even the same and there’s probably no way I can get back to where I was. It was good while it lasted, I guess.

Absolutely loved this app for multiple years, but recently something happened with the app where it erased all my saved info and tracked locations/artists, removed my music library scans, etc. I get notifications for concerts in the area, then click the notifications just for the app to open and tell me I have no tracked locations or artists and no notifications available. Very very frustrating, I used this app weekly to check for shows and now it’s kinda useless for me

Great concept, decent execution
I like that this app exists and notifies me of upcoming concerts, that’s seriously great. There are a few things that could be improved: I’m getting notifications for live stream concerts, which I’m not interested in, but which I can’t disable. I sometimes get notified twice for the same concert. And the search features for artists often doesn’t have the artist I’m interested in listed there, or sometimes it has duplicates and I’m not sure which is real.

I opened Songkick today to find it was updated and it lost all of my saved artists and cities! I am sooo disappointed with the new app! I tried to start over from scratch and it wants to have access to too much info with no option to use it like it worked previously. Ugh!

Good intentions, frustrating app
I like what Songkick is trying to do, I support their mission, and I HAVE discovered shows through them. But this app is always frustrating. Every time I open it, I see errors and/or I’m logged out. I don’t think I have EVER opened it and found that I’m still logged in and the main screen loads correctly. And finding the “log in” is always a bit of a challenge, it’s tiny and hidden at the bottom of some screen, I forget which. And once I’m in, all I really want to see is a calendar or list of shows in my city with bands I’m following. That also takes me a few clicks to discover. I want to like

Good but could be better
Overall this app is great, I use it all the time to pick which concerts I want to go to. There’s a few frustrating areas though: - I can’t copy the venue address, nor have it open in my maps app. This makes it very annoying for planning and sharing with folks where the concert takes place. - It’s great that I can follow my favorite artists, but there’s no way to favorite a venue. This again is great for planning a night out with folks, and seeing who’s playing nearby at places we love, even if the artist isn’t in our music library. Keeps logging me out
The app is pretty good, but Every. Single. Time. I go to open it, I’m logged out. I’m so tired of having to log in every time I try to use the app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it multiple times and it’s the same thing. Edit: I think this issue is resolved now. I’m no longer being logged out.
