brings back memories
I remember playing this & all the sequels during my middle school days 10 years ago and they're still so good! Most of the Kairosoft games used to be completely free with no ads but days have changed so I get it... Most apps now require purchases and subscriptions. I am just glad that they're still arnd for me to play <3

Unlock conditions are bugged!
I couldn’t unlock the lab and the art room for some reasons... I am already a prestigious school and I have music room and one of the students has intellect over 90 but the buildings are not unlocked...
I believe the game is bugged...

Academy and Academy Zero
So I have been playing the free version some time and I enjoy it, and then I see this one that has a bit more in depth things, like more decorations and student to student interaction, etc. but with Zero, they actually go home and then come back, class starts, etc. and at the bottom it shows that time is moving forward, when tests are, graduation, break, etc., and they actually take the tests and you see the results… the one I actually paid for, doesn’t have that.

Favorite game from Kairosoft
This is the first game I played from Kairosoft that made me love it! It’s been many years since it’s release. I would love to see another installment of this game!

Ok game!
I played this game around 5 years ago and started playing again. It’s refreshing but the mechanics are confusing and it seems like things happen randomly.
I’ve only had one couple this play through and it seems like the factors to have a couple make little to no sense. My students have decent popularity, but don’t want to date. The Cupid item is pretty much useless and a waste of points. I don’t think couples boost or improve your school much anyways, so I feel like the couple mechanics are pointless.
I wish there was a way to rotate facilities or even an option to move them because you have

Forever one of my favorites
This game was one of my first Kairosoft games ever. It is absolutely so much fun and a great time killer if you’re ever bored. There is so much to do and once you get a hang of the strategy it becomes a piece of cake. Each map is super unique, with their own challenges and layouts to overcome.
One thing I do hope that happens is an updated sequel. Mega Mall’s sequel looks super promising and I’m excited to play it— this game is a tad old and it would be very refreshing to see a modern version of this game. Please not F2P though… those games are typically not my favorite. More character optio

I was surprised to see this game get an update, but let me cut to the chase. On iPad the buttons are now smaller in portrait mode and the auto rotate is completely broken not full screen anymore!
I’m curious what the bug fixes were, but I will update my review till this is fixed.

Admissions
Great game but there should be more to the admissions side, like being able to pick and choose kids based on potential. Also maybe add future stories for the graduates as like an alumni type deal. All in all, quite solid game.

I love this this game! Fun graphics, almost no ads! Completely appropriate for all ages! This game is so fudging cute! This is my favorite game I have! I would like it if you had more options of the students that attend the school though, and more uniforms and maybe some more hair styles. I would also like if you could try and set up blind dates for the characters! I love this game, definitely worth downloading! There is one thing though, every time someonr gets asked out they get rejected. Only one person has said yes!

The free version has been updated recently but the version we paid for has only had languages added within the last 3 years. Kinda made me feel like I wasted my money. Gameplay is nice though.

Just as good if not better
I played the lite version for the longest time. I had no idea there was a full version. There is so much more in this and I’m happy. The only thing I miss between the two is the fact that the students go home at the end of each month instead of at the end of the year. It’s just weird to see them there all the time but you get used to it. Love Kairosoft games and can’t wait for their next masterpiece

Structures are Difficult
Unlocking buildings is way too complicated. I am currently on year 14 on the first map and I have not yet unlocked the soccer field, pool, gym, art room computer rooms etc.

I love love love this game! I’ve been playing it on and off for the past 8 years. I have some suggestions, increase the map sizes and make it to where the students are there longer than 3 years at a time and possibly make it to where we can choose the classes they take based on what year they are.

Addicting as hell
The price is too low for how much I’ve played this. I love building schools, I love the silly mental images I create out of my students lives, I love that I can hire a duck, a bear, a monkey, and a ghost to be teachers! Plus the New Game Plus and the alternate maps, good lord this has value!
Big tip though - expand slow and be smart about your hiring. Teachers can have great stats but cost way too much given that their stats only come into play the first of every semester.
