The app is second rate compared to other theater apps. So much that I have gone to other theaters based on the app ticket buying experience. Examples - - app will quit in the middle of a purchase “Reloading, try again later” - ticket purchases don’t show up in “My tickets and reservations”. Ever. So what’s the point? - you can’t save your credit card information at purchase. The option is there but it doesn’t work. - Saving your card information your profile doesn’t make it available when purchasing tickets - ads after ticket purchase… cheesy - service fees as a member I’m pretty done w

The absolute worst app to deal with. Logs me out every single day. Half the time it requires me to change my password to log in for no reason and then when I try to reset my password it gives me an error and tells me to contact guest services. Anytime you buy tickets you are unable to actually see your points or use anything like the popcorn awards immediately after. Nothing ever loads or reloads mid-making a purchase and makes you start over.

When clicking Add to Calendar from a ticket nothing happens. I’ve observed and can reproduce this event behavior across multiple iOS and iPhone version. Besides that bug, overall I think the app delivers value. I purchase more tickets now at Harkins than I did before the app existed owing to the convenience and features.

In the last month I’ve been noticing more & more bugs with this app, and now it’s not even useable. Everytime I try to milk on the app, it briefly opens and then immediately crashes out - I can’t access any of my tickets, movies, etc. I’ve tried deleting and redownload the app multiple times, but nothing is working. Super frustrating experience as a rewards member. Before that, it wouldn’t save my payment information and made the purchasing process incredibly difficult. Ever since the app was updated last, my tickets I purchase will not pop up in the app. They send to my email, but they will NOT link in my app. It has happened 5+ times in the last few months. It doesn’t seem to be recording my points or rewards either. Nothing pops up under movie memories anymore either. Others have complained on here for months about these same issues, yet there is no fix

Easy to purchase and look for showtimes/seats. But the app states it’s been having trouble loading my account. I will purchase tickets and it will NOT show them on my recently purchased. Thank god I still have the email receipt so that I can actually go and see my movie. I am completely unaware of my rewards as well since this app has not been able to load any of my purchase history. Please fix this as I am a fan of Harkins and still want to support, but how could I when I don’t trust the simple technology to buy movie tickets from home and not use a 3rd party app.

I love Harkins, it’s been my go to since I was a kid. The app is fine for purchasing tickets, but I wish that there were a way to be reminded of upcoming shows that you’ve bought tickets for. If you buy tickets to an movie 3 months prior, and if you’re in the habit of seeing multiple movies, then it can be kind of chaotic trying to keep showtime straight

App used to work great, but I had to update today and now my purchased tickets are not showing on my account. I was definitely logged in when I purchased. Now I don’t have my points and can’t use the rewards I’m due when I’m going to the movie today. I now have to email them to correct the points, who knows how long that’ll take. What a pain. I hate when “updates” make an app worse. I wish developers would explain what the “updates” are. Y’all messed up this recent one it seems. Quality check before going live with changes!

The app almost every time will say the seats that I selected are sold out after I select them and try to advance to the payment screen. Then I have to go back to the seat selection screen and they are not actually sold and I can select the same seats and try to advance to the payment screen. Sometimes on the second attempt it works or sometimes it repeats and sometimes on the third attempt it will block out the seats as sold and I have to wait approximately 10 minutes to have them become available again and try it a third time and it finally allows me to complete my purchase.

I just downloaded the app and deleted it before I completed it because it kept asking for a rewards number not knowing they meant credit card. Well, I don’t want to use my credit card. I want to use Apple Pay or even pay at the theater in cash. I use movie apps to see what movies are out and what they’re about and if I’m interested. Only after I decide to purchase tickets do I want to add a credit card number, especially with all the hacks out there. Also. I may not want to use just one credit card. This is constantly giving issues. Says seats aren’t available when checking out, but when you go back to pick seats, they are. When you can finally get the seats you’ve been trying to select, your vouchers don’t show up. This happens with every ticket purchase I have been making for the past month. Please fix this so we can access to use the money on our accounts or refund us the 3.50 service fees we have to pay with every app purchase. Ridiculous!

The app works great for purchasing tickets but anything else and it’s hit or miss. Especially the new order food in advance in a neat idea but on my iPhone 13 Pro Max the checkout cart button is hiding behind the menu at the bottom and you can’t access it to finalize the purchase. Also getting popcorn perks and seeing how many remain is anybody’s guess. It would be nice to see how many remain in your profile.

I’ve been using the Harkins app for years now and have had mixed opinions on it the whole time. It’s not terrible, but suffers from a lack of polish. My main gripes are the general bugginess of the app, a lack of Apple Pay support, and the gradual inclusion of ads over time. Given the high standards of Harkins in terms of their theaters, it’s disappointing that they haven’t put more effort into such an important part of the moviegoing experience: ordering tickets.

I’ve bought tickets and food through the app before and I’ve had no problem until today. I tried purchasing tickets and food today and it said something from my card was incorrect and it failed the purchase but I knew for for a fact that my card info was 100% right and me thinking it was just a bug in the app I re tried putting in my card many many times until I get a call from my bank telling me that all the times I tried to buy my tickets and it saying it failed and tried again, the transactions were actually going through to my account, thinking there was fraud being made in my account whic

Bought two adult tickets after putting my card information in. Shortly after confirming my purchase, I was met with a pop up stating the following, “Failed to create order”, claiming that my card information may have been wrong and to re-enter my card information. Like any regular human being, I did just that. And after being met with the same pop up, I decided to check my bank account. To my surprise, two payments of $25 went through. Love using the app to buy tickets to our new Cinegrill theater, but we have a gift card balance that is less than the total of what our tickets costs. We can only buy tickets with one payment method. It would be nice to be able to use the gift card balance and make up the difference with our credit card. So we can’t use the gift card balance until we go to a concessions stand at a standard theater?

The app works good most times, but has recently grown prone to crashes and issues with the “Add to Calendar” feature. This has only been observed on the recent versions of the app. Also here to echo the additional fees added for each ticket. If the customer can do it online, it should be more convenient and at least a little cheaper than what is currently implemented.

I love Harkins, it feels very comfortable and customer oriented compared to AMC. I don’t mind spending my money with Harkins because they put effort into making it nice and affordable for the customer. Plus they are clean and their popcorn is soooo much tastier then AMC. I appreciate that they offered popcorn during COVID shut down, it was so comforting!!

I tried buying Black Panther 2 tickets this past weekend and it just didn’t let me buy them. It used to work flawlessly with Apple Pay and then it would send the tickets to your Apple wallet. This was just a couple months again for the movie “The Invitation”. But it seems like they updated it to remove Apple Pay??? I said screw it and downloaded the Fandango app. Works with Apple Pay and all was good.

Spend $200 and we will give you $5!!!! Wow!!!! What a joke. Took my wife on a date to a harkins theatre, walked out the door spending $80 FOR TWO PEOPLE. Then they wonder why people jail break firesticks. Anyway, tried to see my point balance, took forever to load when I’ve only bought a few things with an account. And I tried to put my birthday in so they could bless me with $5 and the app crashed 5 times before it worked. They really don’t want to give you money LOL. You can’t even buy a drink with a “$5 concession!!!!!”
