Hourly helps you keep track of time. It's just like having a wristwatch that beeps on the hour, except it's much more personal!
You can choose:
* The sound to play (from a simple wristwatch beep, to the legendary Greenwich Pips, to a spoken voice, or the chime of an old clock)
* A message to display on the screen
* Which hours, half hours, or any other times to notify you about

Fixed an awful bug which prevented notifications from being presented on iOS8
Added support for alerts on half hours (a much requested feature!)
NOTE: If Hourly does not appear in Settings->Notifications after applying this update, uninstall Hourly, restart your iOS device, wait at least 24 hours, restart the device again and then re-install Hourly. That is the only way to re-initialise the iOS 8 notifications system and allow Hourly to work.

Love the app and all of its features. Coming from a G-Shock, I love the hourly beeps but I don’t always have my iPhone on me so it would be PERFECT if we could get the sounds loaded and play directly from the Apple Watch.

Hourly time notifications keep me on schedule.
It has simple notifications, chime or spoken, that turn on, and most importantly turn off automatically. You do not have to stop what you are doing to turn off an alarm.

I did have to learn some by trial and error.
This app will send to Apple Watch it you allow notifications from Hourly on Apple Watch.
I did not want this I just wanted the chimes on my iPhone. Love the Time Signal sound.
So I turned off notifications for Apple Watch and it works fine. You can set any time interval you want, but have to do it one at a time.
I wish it could go to Apple Watch! All the Apple Watch gets is a tone.

Simple and Functional
Hourly does exactly what I needed, which is an audible notification at the top of each hour during daylight hours. Even I could set it up. The only reason for not going to five stars is, I would like to be able to choose different types of English, like British or Australian, and male or female derivations.

The Greenwich Pips are timed correctly
I just installed this before the top of the hour, hoping that the Greenwich Pips would be correctly offset. They are! They start at :55 seconds, so the long end pip sounds at the top of the hour. Bravo!

Not perfect but works
There was another chime app, called Chime, that was the best. It could be customized for female or male voice. The chime could be customized for voice or a sound. This one seems to be limited as to what you can customize, or is not as straightforward as the other app. Second best is ok, perhaps.

Nothing special for Apple Watch
The only part of this app that works on the Apple Watch is an hourly beep. I contacted the developer and he said that SOMEDAY he hopes to make features like the Greenwich pips etc. available on the watch app. I deleted this app, I can manually make my watch beep.

Voice Changed ~ Annoying
I like to hear the time spoken. The app recently changed from a woman’s voice to a mans voice. I find the mans voice annoying and their isn’t a way to change it. Prefer the woman’s voice or option to change it. Another recent change, good and bad, is how you can add specific times to be announced. Starts at 6:00 through midnight. Pain if you work midnight shift and have to add in the missing hours. I like it but annoyed by changes.
