Best game I every played!
This is really the best game I've played since 2018. I love it so much! I built a world in it called Creative World, and it shows how much I've evolved in my building skills. Please just change a few things, for example, the ability to paint only the side of blocks, and not the whole thing. Also make the light coming from the lamps not go through walls! Other than that, this app is literally the best! I can't find anything bad about it! An exceptionally amazing sandbox game.
This game is beyond nostalgic for me, it was literally bigger than Mario to me when I was a kid (which is saying a lot) I am beyond happy that the servers were reinstated and the game is now back up. Eden is literally so much fun, I was just looking through other peoples builds yesterday in the game and playing for like 3 hours as if I didn’t have college work or any other responsibilities. I have always loved Eden, I have played it since I’ve been just a little child. And I’ve loved what they have done with it in the past, but I regret updating it, I do not like what they have done with it this time. I do not like the look of everything, and I wish they would go back to how it was before. I’ve used the app for years but recently the worlds I’ve been using(including download ones) just completely clear out and I loose a ton of work. I’m super frustrated because I just lost a world I’ve been working on for a while and now I have to start completely over. I have played this game on iPad/iPhone for YEARS. At least 10-12 years on and off. It was always such a fun game. I have tons of worlds built and downloaded. Then I get on to this new update.. holy terrible. Every one of my worlds look completely different. It looks very fake/cartoony compared to what it did look like. For example the steel beam block. It used to look like an actual steal beam now it just looks like a plastic block with 4 little holes drilled in the corners. Needs a Classic Version
When this was first released it was great, but it's been changing in recent updates. It used to be its own thing, but it's slowly becoming more and more of a minecraft knockoff. Each update also makes it slower and more buggy. Ideally, return to v1.7 (or release it as a separate app). The red creatures, general lack of creatures, health, slow loading, bugs with sharing worlds, unreliable roller coasters, etc in v2 seem different to the original concept of a fun sandbox game.

First of all, this game is a big part of my childhood, thanks for all the fun memories ❤️ I have two suggestions (which are probably others’ suggestions which should be added): 1. Flying. It could make you go faster, and unlike Minecraft you should be able to clip through blocks. I am not sure how to toggle flying, apart from a double jump, maybe a switch in the in-world settings or..? 2. Movable blocks. You can push them around, and they can move indefinitely on ice blocks. This game was in a fine state for years. While it didn’t try and compete with any other games it was fun to just come back and play every once in a while to look back on the worlds I made when I was younger. A new update was released recently which added a texture pack feature, a nice addition but also bizarrely removed and adjusted some features leading to old worlds looking incredibly ugly. This is a great app for young kids to show off their creativity and imagination. However, the app has been neglected and after each update, it gets worse. The quality of the game has gotten worse over the years and just recently, the colors, blocks and overall appearance has downgraded. I’ve had this game since I had an iPod touch 4 (my first apple product and also the first “big” purchase I made on my own). I have been able to maintain the same save/world since then (until now). Good game, but something I noticed.
At first I dismissed this game as just another Minecraft ripoff in the sea of ripoffs. But when you actually go exploring in the game, you can find otherworldly landscapes unlike those in any other game I’ve found. I think the devs should lean into these alien landscapes a little more. I just think that showing off the forest biome so much is really selling this game short. I just think that these landscapes should be shown off more because they’re really cool. When I first saw this game, I was worried it would be a copy of another well known block game. To my surprise, it is almost nothing like the other block games. It’s unique variety of creatures and items you can place make it very fun to mess around with. Another cool feature is that you can color a block or creature any color you choose, and enough of the same color on the ground will change the color of the sky. Overall, you’ll have a fun time if you and some friends decide to pick this game up.
