Used to love
Like many others, I loved the app until the recent UI overhaul. It’s very pretty and looks nice, but the easy functionality was removed. It used to be easy to see the hour by hour forecast for the day by tapping and expanding. Now you see a graph with small numbers. The worst part for me is the tiny blue precipitation percentage numbers on a dark background. They’re not easy to read. I understand progress but I believe the changes made make this app weaker in what it did best: show the weather! I’ll stick around for a while hoping for some improvements, but I will likely switch to an alternat

Pretty BUT worthless for an accurate forecast
I always first go to this app because I love the picture of the Earth and how easy it is to navigate and add cities. For all of the years I’ve been using it, the one thing I can count on is it’s never right. I also use the weather channel and it’s crazy how different it always is. For example, Living Earth shows the next 7 days in Denver Colorado to have a 50% chance of rain/snow. The news, the weather channel and everything else says zero precipitation for the next 10 days. I’m sure Living Earth, as usual, will be the one that’s wrong.🤷🏼‍♀️

Dear Author, I wasn’t able contact you through the App Support link and so I have to use this as my method of communication. I am one of your happy customers up to my transfer to iPhone 17 Pro using iOS 26.3. Now I cannot load your app either from my iTunes account or your page. There is no error message. I have done shutdown and restarted and cleared my caches. Since the app is not on the phone I can’t erase it and reload. This has happened to at least 30 other applications from a variety of authors. Severely Declined In Quality
When Living earth first came out it had accurate weather forecasts, a little temperature badge that you can see from the main screen, and it was aesthetically pleasing to look at with a view of Earth from space. When it was working this app became a favorite, however I found that this app has severely declined over the last few years. The weather is no longer accurate, the temperature badge is gone, even the animation of the Earth malfunctions on a new iPhone 16 Pro. I am extremely disappointed in the product and cannot recommend this app to anyone.

Needs Weather Widget
Have used Living Earth for almost 15 years on 4 iPhones. It was one of the very first apps purchased for first iPhone. Its weather widget was the BEST bar none! Multiple releases of iOS and still no widget. Hope Radiant Labs have not given up on developing a compatible Weather Widget. Can’t live without its Weather Widget. The widget does NOT have to reside on the "Today" screen, being able to put it on ANY screen would be better than not having the widget at all. Again, please consider developing a new widget that displays list of Current Weather Temperature of Saved Locations.

Years of Reliable Forecasts
“Living Earth” has been my go-to weather app for so many years now that I cannot remember when I downloaded it. It opens up to the beautiful and mesmerizing rotation of the Earth (I love the cloud covering overlay) and settles upon my hometown or the city of my family and friends whose weather I want to know. To me the visual display is simple with location, temp, time and date and the detailed weather with 10 day forecast a tap away. I use the 10 Day forecast to know the weather to plan my week and for packing when going to other cities.

One of my favorite features of Living Earth over the many years I’ve had it installed has always been the temperature badge, where the red ball with the number of “notifications” on the app icon was kept current with the local temp. That feature has now disappeared. And so have three of their stars. I was tempted to knock them all off but it’s otherwise a nice-looking app. Though without that feature it won’t stay on my phone much longer. Wholly disappointed
A sailing publication recommended this app for useful weather data. It is useless. You cannot zoom in any closer than the size of North America, how in any way can that be described as accurate?!? Never mind micro climates (it says it’s raining here and it’s not), you cannot glean relevant information for any mariner. No wind direction, no pressure zones, you cannot even recognize Hawaii on full zoom. Save your money. Much better information is readily available on the internet.

Updated 11/15: The developer reached out and advised that the cloud imagery had been fixed. It has - good job! This used to be my favorite weather app, but it hasn’t been updated since iOS 16 and over the last couple of months the rendering of clouds and other weather features has degraded significantly to the point that it looks like it’s something from a 1990s video game.

Temperatures for my area (Palm Springs, California) are more often inaccurate than accurate. Currently it says it’s 86 (it’s over 100), and the temperature tab for the time of day it is, is actually close to being accurate at 103, the same app…. Two different temperatures. Something is wrong. Adding cities, “San Francisco” shows more than 2 dozen results, NONE OF THEM IN CALIFORNIA?!? Pathetic and sad. LOL

Not honest, developers please clarify how soon this app updates. I took screenshots of hurricane Helene since 5:41 till 11:24 and the cloud formations remained the same. :)I have used this app since 2011 … I think. I know it’s been for a super long time. It’s fantastic. I love adding cities when my b/f is out of town so I know what time it is where he is when I call him. I add cities that I’ll be visiting so I can can see weather. I use it for local weather and I can see where storms are further out so I know when big storm systems will be headed my direction.
