Mediocre character recognition.
The OCR/character recognition is mediocre and spotty. There is some manual correction needed for every card. Amazing App has not improved since I installed it years ago given the advancements in the field and availability of AI enhancements

Edit fields are a nightmare
App works pretty well, however, it doesn’t scan correctly and manual editing is required on 9 out of 10 scans. The picture overlays the field you try to edit and it’s a freaking nightmare to edit the info. According to Grok, this has been an issue for over 10 years. Get it fixed guys.

It is only $0.99 and it is a SCAM . It does not scan biz card but takes a photo if thats what you mean by scan. I bought it and took a photo of a biz card but no transcribing. Tried to contact support or read about it and there is no support or website. So you are dead by payong $.99 You might as well die in a car accident for free.

Paid for app but can only scan 2 cards before having to pay more!
All it does is take a picture of the business card. I can do that for free with my camera. I paid $.99 for this app and it only scans and transcribes two cards before you run out of credits and have to buy more. Why would I only want to scan two business cards per month? If I still have to manually type in all the information myself, why would I need this app? I would like a refund and I would like to warn others before they waste time and money downloading this app. Should be renamed as ScamBizCards

There is no obvious way to use OCR instead of relying on human transcription (which costs money, for obvious reasons). I bought this app to use OCR, and it’s description talks about OCR, but it either lacks that functionality or it’s very hidden.

I have used this app for almost a decade, and it is terrific! When it first came out, there were minor issues, especially with OCR, but the developers were actively interested in learning about those issues so they could improve their product. They have actively and continuously engaged with their users to refine their product, and now, they have one of the best business card scanner — eRoladex — I have ever seen! Having been a user over the past few years, I have definitely seen this app evolve into one of the most powerful and useful tools on my iPhone. This is a must have app for mobile

Easier to just enter the contact
No card I tried was scanned properly. If I need to go in and edit every field I’ll just enter new contact. I downloaded and deleted the app within minutes.

Spent a couple hours put 10 business cards in. Half of the info captured was erroneous, some entries never showed up anywhere, and the rest weren’t under the correct letter. This app is a hot mess and waste of time. Uninstalling!

Useful app, but be warned
This is a useful app, but don’t use it without backing it up to your cloud. I upgraded iPhones several times, but when I upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro, the app reset and dumped all of my contacts. Years of stored cards are now gone. Support just said sorry. No solutions. I’d avoid it and find a more reliable app.
