Very good adventure game and if you really wanna play it, I would probably invest in it
I’ve been playing this game on and off for a while just due to me not having a lot of time to be able to actually play it to progress pretty far. I will say the progression could be a little better however, if this is a game where you like the adventure aspect and it’s something that you wanna do for time killing and be as close as to a Star Trek experience as you want with a lot of adventure RPG then I would recommend this game and to be honest with the way things are going I’ve never looked at this game and said man this is unfair. I would recommend investing money into it

It’s been fun for me. I enjoy little pixel games like this. Chill turn based combat for crew and ship battles are real time. AI chips/process lets the game do the work for you if you don’t want to manage the ship battles in real time. The story can be funny and really as long as I’m having fun, it’s worth it to me. You can earn starbux in a variety of ways or use micro transactions to progress or earn items but you can also just grind for most items. I just started the 3.99 monthly trial so we’ll see how that affects my experience. No negatives so far. Some minor bugs every now and then but I

Had a cool look, but interface is super hit and miss and everything just moves at an irritatingly slow pace. I appreciate that the game has a trial and error aspect to learn how to play… but having to wait several minutes for the game to plod along and the round to end cause you made a mistake and cant win while the opponent cant win or lose either is just not a great experience. FTL: Faster Than Light Multiplayer Inspiration
I joined this game in its first season (even before Fleets) and we were the S.Q.U.I.D. (Super Quantum Ultra Invincible Destroyers) Alliance. We eventually grew distant and I logged off since 2017. I came back today and my account is still there. So overall, I really respect these developers, they never deleted my account, they take what works, and they make it fun! Heavily inspired by the video game FTL: Faster Than Light by Subset games, I think those developers would be proud of the title built here. Also, still same great soundtrack! ;]

Overall, this game is incredible. It’s fun, challenging but fair, and in a way that it’s immensely satisfying once you do overcome a significant obstacle. But there’s one thing that is SINGLE HANDEDLY dragging this from an easy five star review to a three. Time. Once you get to around level six, the sheer amount of time that upgrades take is actually game ruining. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 days now and I’ve gotta say…. me like game. The only ads you get are when you want to skip building times (and they aren’t those dumb mobile game ads either), the storyline is fun, missions and leveling can be challenging but the devs figured out how to balance a challenge with fun. This game so far has been better than expected. I haven’t run into any payroll issues as of yet however I’m still only one day in. The only real downside that I see in this game so far is that whenever you enter battle, your shields are not automatically up you have to manually turn your engine down or off then raise your shields after which the enemy has already got two or three shots in on you or more. so far that is the only frustrating thing I found with this game. Hello there! I’m writing this here because I can’t from the game itself (bug 1#,) to report a bug about the ground battles. To make a long explanation short, I found a glitch where you enable auto-battle in the middle of an attack one of your crew made after they are going back to their starting point, making said crew attack again and essentially kill the enemy. This means your entire team can completely sweep any ground battle without a single hit (bug 2#) Also, quick side note, why do some upgrades take MORE THAN A WEEK?! This used to be a great game with a live community, developers that listened to their playerbase. Over time, it has become more and more p2w. There are few testers that dictate the changes in the game into paths that favor their own preferred strategy, killing all others. Creativity is not appreciated. At first Pixal Starships looks like a low budget game, but if all of the tower defense and base building games I have played, Pixalships is my favorite. The best feature of the game is how your base is also your ship, meaning it is the only tower attack games (where your base goes on the offensive) I have ever played. This is on of the only games that has lasted on my phone through the years. The developers do a good job, making updates, & adding new things. the storyline isn’t very engaging but if you get into a good fleet like one of the trek fleets that makes up for it. I like the fact you can play for free and get just as far as other people that like to pay money it does take a bit longer though. It’s also fun making specialized alternate accounts. Pretty fun game. I first played this game when it came out but there wasn’t enough content in the early days so I stopped playing for a few years. I recently picked it up and I'm happy to see that its been getting regular updates since then. Number on I love the game super addictive and fun love how you can build your own story and advance through time getting better and better fighting in pvp space battles. So I really enjoyed playing this game and would definitely give it a 5 star review but unfortunately I just can’t. All the enjoyment just flew out the window after only a few days all because the insane upgrade times. My starship is only level 5 and already I can only play the game for like an hour a day because the upgrade times are between 4-8+ hours. I’m sorry but I can’t just sit and enjoy a game that in order to advance through the game I have wait 8 hours for an upgrade to my stuff. Fix that and it’s an east 5 star game.

Lots of potential, but most of the good stuff is just knock off FTL. 1. A few problems I have are that there are so many long timers. So you basically boot up game, travel or upgrade an item, and then close the game for a minimum of an hour because you can’t do anything else. 2. Before i start, i must say. I LOVE THIS GAME!! When i first downloaded it i was hooked instantly, from the art style , to the gameplay, this game is an absolute gem. But there is one issue. There is no problem
I did not encounter any problem other critical reviews said. It is probably fixed since most are from last year and it took me like 10 seconds to load and I’m on an ancient iPhone 6s. (I played for a while so I think I have the right to give my opinion). Over all, very fun game with a lot of content. Its a great game cross between Among Us, Space Invaders and Sims 4. The ads and in app purchases are affordable and do not gover the gameplay which I love and it makes the overall gaming experience so much fun! A few minor things that would make it better though. Maybe have some fights between ships include different mini games that are similar to the retro arcade games that everyone loves. Would be nice as an idea to have the possibility of invading someone ship and taking it from the inside or joining forces as a form of ally! However it is overall a perfect game, defenitely recommend!
