I have been using Gas Buddy for years and when my Gas Card stopped working and the editing features disappeared I searched for a gas log and found Road Trip. The reviews of the developer reported quick responses for assistance and that is so true. Darren helped with instructions on how to import the data into RoadTrip and I am very happy with the results. My Favorite Car Tracking App
Really is the BEST out there. So easy to use. Tracks my mpg (the truth, not what your car wants you to believe) and when I sell my cars I hand the new owner a spreadsheet of everything EVER done to the car. Does ALL the things AND does not collect personal data. Started with the lite free version and after almost a year I have upgraded- great tool, tracking gas stations especially, just got a bad tank of gas, vs a great tank of gas- I can track that too. I’ve used this app since 2012, and I can happily say this has been so easy to keep track of anything I would ever want for my car. Putting in every fill up is super simple, and it calculates my MPG and puts it in a graph with all my other fill ups. I have multiple reminders for things like changing my oil or my car inspection, so I can keep track of that. Additionally, since I’ve put things in the services tab like when I’ve had to buy a battery, tires or even wiper blades, I can see when I did it last and any other information. I’ve been using Road Trip since 2019 and have never had an issue. It can track multiple vehicles, including electric, and archive old vehicles. I also use it to track maintenance and set reminders for future service. It’s a great one stop shop to see the economics of driving. Ability to specify aftermarket tire size
Ive been using this app for over a year with multiple cars and its done a great job. A feature I would be interested in is being able to specify tire size to get an accurate reading of my MPGs. Since I have larger than stock tires on my truck, the odometer reading is not accurate and not having to covert manually from the OEM size would be amazing. Thanks! -Update: Right after I wrote this review I decided to look around on the app and found that this feature already existed!! Thanks to the devs for reaching out too. April 2025: sent this to Developer’s support email but it bounces back with a 5.7.1 error. Posting here in hopes they can read and address: I recently switched from ICE to an EV and it’s been really confusing for me. Your app brilliantly supports the basics of EV but I have some blind spots that might be addressed better in the app. ICE isn’t easily translating for me into EV thinking I’ll try doing some bullet points: 1) I can adjust my “tank” in an EV for various capacities. It’s best to not “fill” it to 100% ever because the battery needs space for regeneration, along with other reasons.

Been using this app for over 10 years now. Frankly, I take it for granted the developer keeps it going, and I’m super grateful. I love going back and seeing all the stats for my previous cars, but also, huge for me is tracking my service too. It’s changed
I have used this app for several years. It’s been good to go back and check things…. However tonight I went to check on mileage a year ago only to find out all my gas fill ups etc, now only starts in May 2024. I don’t know when this changed, but I’m disappointed. Other than that, it has been a good app.
