By request... no timer mode! That's right, you get to decide when you're done placing tiles on the board, not a timer! Take your time, make some cool designs, it's your game! This and the big board? What a great 2024.

Description
Toobz is a challenging, fast-paced game that brings together quick reactions, planning, and a little bit of luck.
Your goal is to create a system of "Toobz" (pipes) beginning at a randomly-placed starting point. Your Toobz network must allow water to flow without any spilling. As you advance through levels, you'll have less and less time to place the pieces before the water starts automatically. You can start the water at any time, allowing you to quickly advance to the next level and earn extra points. If you spill any water, though, your game is over and you'll have to try again.
Toobz features three game modes: "Classic Toobz" in which only one upcoming piece is displayed, "Show Toobz" game in which the next four pieces are displayed, and the new "Puzzle" game that starts you out with a full board. Along with each game mode is a "Big Board" option which increases the size of the playing area by more than 2x!
Multiple color themes are available, including a setting to match your system Dark Mode preference.

We're back! Our 15th year in the App Store and we're back with a new version that includes the usual fixes, but there's something bigger... The board! We've added a "Big Board" option to the three different games which expands the board size from 5x6 to 7x9! That's more than twice as many squares to manage, but we know you can do it. We've also added a relaxing green theme to the mix for a bit more variety.

Fix scoring bug where penalties weren't applied properly after the first level. Sorry about the free points!
Also simplified the audio output by using a standard framework vs. external library. That was the last external library in use by Toobz so we're free of any dependencies! That's exciting to us but hopefully you won't notice a thing.

Hopefully killed the bug where progress wasn't properly being saved when leaving the app. Also tweaked the light theme a bit more to soften it, and added back in the ability to see the status bar again so Toobz can't be used as an excuse for being late to work :-)

Toobz is back! This is primarily a maintenance update to (finally) get things looking right on all the new screen sizes that have been released since the last update. The interface has been simplified and we now support three different color themes, including matching your system Dark Mode setting.

Yes, finally -- after three years of Toobz, you can finally rotate a piece after placing it. That rotation comes at a price, though, but it makes for a new exciting game to occupy all that free time you have.

Toobz is now Scoreloop enabled!
That means, you don't have to play it alone! You can compare your scores with other gamers worldwide and even challenge them directly.
You can challenge just about anyone like your contacts or buddies on Facebook. Or you can simply challenge existing players by tapping their name in the high score list. You can also create and accept anonymous challenges. Scoreloop will make sure you play against someone who is about as skilled as you are.
And if you really perform well, you can win medals that show your skills to your opponents in your profile.

Version 1.6 of Toobz introduces a new game type: Timed! Instead of a difficulty level, you choose a maximum amount of time that you have to play Toobz. Your goal is to try and score as many points as possible during that time. You can choose from 1, 3, 5, and 10 minute timed games. High scores are on OpenFeint for each game time so you can see how you compare with the rest of the world.

Version 1.4 of Toobz introduces sound effects and an original score! Enjoy the full audio experience as you race against time ensuring there are no leaks in your system of Toobz.
In addition to the new sounds, we've also added two new custom backgrounds that you can choose from. Several minor bug fixes round things out.
**NOTE**
Some players are reporting that the sounds and music are not being enabled properly. If you answered "Yes" to the initial "Enable Songs?" alert, please try going into the Info screen and turning off and on the sound effects and music.
