Believe it or not, when I bought my first IPhone…I think was an IPhone 6 Plus, my own and not one the school district provided for their teachers and staff, Pandora was the VERY FIRST app I downloaded and after a few short months of having to listen to ads, I bought a subscription that I still have and have on every device I own.

Dude, you have NO ABSOLUTE idea how much I’m in love with music. Certain songs give me such an amazing feeling but I won’t get into that, don’t worry. Pandora is awesome. Was doing better for a while
Recent updates have once again added bugs. Freezes and crashes Controls not appearing on Lock Screen Different versions of songs playing but not the one I specifically gave a Thumbs Up I saw a thumbs up for a different version, so when I tried to remove the thumbs up it immediately reappears; I don’t remember giving that version the thumbs up. I’m reaching a point where I have to be selective of what I subscribe to. And for now, my preference is with Pandora. It does what I like, but I do wish there was slightly more customization with radios like being able to select like a playlist of radio stations and it shuffle those. I love Pandora except that I mostly use it off-line and absolutely does not function properly in off-line mode. In off-line mode, it will randomly delete downloaded stations and playlists. I have several that it frequently, as in every two weeks, it will delete and I will have to re-download. It's usually the same five out of 20 or so. I love this application, it is accessible for the most part. What I do not like about this app is that it crashes in a very bad way whenever I as a voice over user navigate the app using swipe gestures with VoiceOver, the iOS screen reader. I’m sure you can figure out how old I am from what I thumb up or down. Play me more from my era. If I thumb up a certain song by a band but thumb down another song by that same artist it only means I don’t like that specific tune but still like the artist. Have a thumb up for like and thumb down for don’t like and then double thumb up for really like and double thumb down for really don’t like. This app is really great aside from a few details that need to be fixed… great song selection, even better stations, and good ad balance, but it’s always the same ad and it gets sooooo boring- to the point where I will I will close out of the app and open it again to skip the ad so I don’t have to hear the same annoying jingle in my head for the next half hour.

New update fixes apple car play problem!
I used to love Pandora on my Apple CarPlay on my Subaru Forrester. Then Apple came up with the iOS 18 update and totally screwed up Pandora. About every 30 seconds the base section of my speakers would completely disappear and the radio would be very tinny. Also, when I went to change to another station I had in Pandora, I would get an error message saying it couldn’t load the information. Something Broke on the last Update
I have been a paid subscriber for 10+ years. Just recently, my music on Pandora will stop when a message is read or responding by Siri, or texting using voice to text like normal, but now it won’t resume when the text is sent. I have to physically switch back to the Music app and hit play again. It is really inconvenient and frustrating when using with Apple CarPlay when you’re driving. One hour of uninterrupted listening (Problem) & other glitches (will add with every new discovery)
So, I was shown a button that allowed me to get an hour of uninterrupted listening time. This usually works, but I’ve encountered a minor problem. The video is only 5 seconds long. Seeing that you must watch a 15 second video to receive this reward, it doesn’t work. Maybe instead of slapping a random ad in for your users to watch, you can choose the ones you want to put in. Then you (and your users) wouldn’t have this problem. Please fix this, because it is an inconvenience to what is supposed to be a convenient music app. After you guys handle that, I’ll make it 5 stars. Thanks much! EDIT: I

I just flippen love Pandora! I love being able to hear all of my favorite songs, whether it’s new songs, music from a few years ago, or best of all; or all my favorite songs while growing up! Music soothes the soul! Just the simple fact that I can listen to my life-long favorite music, on one station nonetheless just makes me happy!
