Have you ever wished to keep your music playing while recording a video?
Hi there! Not too long ago, I grew tired of expensive subscriptions in a small market of recording apps that either had overly complicated features or lacked options altogether. So I turned a solution for me into a product for you.
Videou really is the ultimate video recording app designed for the gym-goer, musician or dancer that combines essential functionality with exclusive features that you won't find anywhere else.
Now on iOS 17+ you also have the choice to use a new recording mode "Shazam mode". This starts the video recording when the timestamp of a saved song is reached during playback. This is powered by Shazam and also works through wireless headphones. Flick through the slides to see how it works :)
Features
- Continuously plays music from any streaming service while recording, whether you're connected via Bluetooth or not
- Flexible video storage options, allowing you to choose any location and easily access the most recent video in that album
- Supports your device's maximum resolution on both the front and back cameras for high-quality recordings
- Ability to control video recording with your Bluetooth headset's media buttons, enabling you to start or stop recording effortlessly
- Selectable fall-over detection with an on-screen and Bluetooth (if connected) audible alert, notifying you if your camera has been moved
- Fully functional even without a Bluetooth connection
- Option to select a countdown timer to aid in creating shorter videos, with the ability to customize timer intervals
- Choice to use automatic re-arming, allowing you to start recording again without returning to your phone

- Ps. This is probably going to be the last update for a while; as the next one requires a few months of work and will bring never seen before features... It'll be worth the wait!
