Works but subscription fee is criminal
I used a phone remote a few years ago and thought it was pretty convenient so I downloaded this app while I waited for a new remote to arrive and used the 3 day free trial before cancelling. There is now a subscription cost to use this app and it’s $6.99 PER WEEK. That is absolutely criminal. Truly, that fee should be illegal. I feel sorry for anyone who has forgotten to cancel their free trial. $363 per year to use your phone as a remote?!? Unbelievable.

i downloaded the app because i lost my remote only to find out that you have to pay to even use the app which defeats the whole purpose on why these app are even a thing in the first place not to mention the fact that when offered the “3 day free trial” still charges you up to 43 dollars and you can’t even cancel it?? like this is a waste of you’re money and just a down right scam.

It’s a scam. They charge you $43 immediately even if you sign up for the free 3 day trail. It says you can cancel at anytime but you can’t. They also say you can contact customer support but do not give you any info on how to. No email or number was provided to contact support to cancel subscription. They intend to keep charging $43 a month.

It says 3 days free and I was immediately charged. I also cancelled before the 3 day trial period ended, I was still charged and have yet to receive any sort of refund. Absolutely terrible experience, false advertising and misleading service. I will be disputing the charge constantly until I get my full refund!

I had to download this app because unfortunately I lost my remote temporarily, only temporarily. I took off the glow in the dark silicone glove I keep it in because my grandson loves to play with it he’s only 9 months old and teething so he loves chewing on it. 😊 I’ve got to get him one, of his own. Well anyway this works really great! The only thing I miss is that I can’t talk into it. But this app will be gone tomorrow because we’re moving the bed and I just know that’s where my remote is. So if you need a remote definitely use this it’s awesome 😎

I’m just trying to diagnose an issue with my fire stick at home. I thought it would be a good idea to try this app out but it was not a good idea. It’s OK. But there’s so much confusion on the screen that somebody my age doesn’t figure it out younger people maybe but I’m 68 years old and I’m having a really hard time when I’m using it, but I do have it on both of my TVs because I sent away for new remotes so hopefully I won’t have to use it very much longer but it’s OK. It’s just not OK for old people. It’s not simple enough.

Do not buy this they charge money to use it when the official fire stick TV remote app is free. I hope they go out of business soon and stop ripping people off by lying to them and charging them money when they say they have a free three day trial. I only downloaded this because out of all of my remotes, the volume does not seem to be connected or working so I was kinda hoping that one of these apps would be my answer to my problems. This was the first one I downloaded and once I opened the app and tried to press ANY button, it would just pop up a subscription. EVERY. TIME. I. PRESSED. A. BUTTON! App is literally unusable for me, and probably for others too. Terrible terrible terrible app.

Doesn't work
They are quick to charge 6.99 a week for the subscription which is a rip-off because the control can't connect to fire stick and when it does it freezes after you push a button once then it looses connection and takes 20 seconds to reconnect. I tried lowering the volume and it froze my fire stick also started lagging so I used my fire stick physical control and it responded efficiently which leads me to conclude this app is not worth the 6.99 a week they want to charge.

10 dollars a month for a remote is ridiculous. Got it anyways because I lost my remote and needed something until I could replace it. Wouldn’t auto connect after I agreed to the 3 day trial with auto renewal. Can’t connect it without the physical remote. Found the physical remote. No way to cancel in app that I can find, now I gotta play the figure out how to cancel it game.
