Frustrated
I have paid for the extended version on the game and now it is stuck and will not let me move on. There needs to be some bug fixes because this is unacceptable, especially if I I have paid for it.

What a shame
I think I would’ve loved this game but I don’t know if it is my old iPad or what. The game flows beautifully and plays beautifully right up until the second that some clock shows up at the top of the screen. When that happens everything slows down gets sluggish and doesn’t respond in a timely fashion and eventually becomes too frustrating to play. Again which is a shame because I believe I would enjoy the game if that clock didn’t screw everything up. So I’m out. Background door knocking and creaking?
I could not concentrate of the game. When I was in a scene to find objects, all I kept hearing was what sounded like someone knocking on a door, a creaking door, and low voices. I assure you that I was not hallucinating. This is not the first game where this has happened.

Crashes in the king’s chamber
I am in the beginning of the game pretty much, where the nursemaid is tending to the king and I have to open the case to try to get the items to examine the King. I have the cane and have just finished the HOP next to the bed and when I try to click on anything else in the room, the game crashes. Super frustrating, as I love these Domini Games.

Glitches Galore
SO many things wrong with this game, I can’t believe it’s still out there. As others have stated, I purchased the deluxe version though it doesn’t show it. When given an option to do the extra “deluxe” task, I had to click on the “upgrade to deluxe” button, then it said I had already purchased so I wasn’t charged. However after I completed the task the upgrade to deluxe button came back. There are numerous other glitches like items coming from nowhere and disappearing. The worst is that now I have played the map minigame three times and as soon as I complete it, it boots me off the game. I res

Why take away the good?
I’ve played HOAG on/off for years. I’m a big fan of interactive aspects(aka “Gimmicks”). The good games used to have a kit to heal/mix or the Beastiary etc was way more interactive. Now it’s all gone & I feel like I’m just going through the motions as with every one of their games now. Head on over to Friendly Fox & see how it’s done. You were a quality developer at one time. Also the so called “Deluxe Version”??? Update: I got an email saying the developer wants me to contact them, but all I get is a bot that apparently can’t comprehend my request for a real, live person. The game loads, and you can play it, but there is no strategy guide. I keep re-“purchasing” the upgrade levels, but it doesn’t take, and I only have the standard game, despite paying for both upgrades. You can do better, Domini.

I opened up the game to continue and it will not let me progress or do an available puzzle. (The piano puzzle). I checked every scene and even tried the hint each time and no actions are available. I also paid for the full unlock AND the extra premium and now it’s not registered. Great game until I hit this point

Hangs at the very beginning
I am running 15.5 on my iPad. I downloaded this game and it hung in the first scene. I clicked on the briefcase and got the cane. Then, I turned the lock on the briefcase and the lock broke as expected. Next I went to all the places (King, Bedside table, mantle, etc. and nothing). At this early point in the game, there isn’t a map, or help. I deleted the app, then reloaded it after clearing the ipad of any open applications, including this one. When I open the app, the same thing happens.
Quite disappointed because I usually love Domini games.

How do you release a game with this many problems?
Ditto on the deluxe purchase not registering, even though it doesn’t charge you again if you press purchase again. I’m on the pipette getting liquid out of the broken glass vial, and there’s no way to make it work even though the pipette is clearly the solution. Hints are useless in showing available actions. The leather bag had its contents taken out, yet it’s still in my possessions bar, with a plus sign right next to it with no explanations when clicked on. What’s going on here???
Please tell your game developers to get with the program. Super frustrating.

Domini gets better and better!
I was able to play the game just fine. I absolutely love Domini games. I own every single game they ever made. You keep getting better and better and I get so excited every time you release a game on IOS. I have one request though. Can you make the achievement notifications optional? I find them annoying and they interrupt my game play experience because they are often covering things I want to look at and there’s ssssssoooooo many of them and they get bigger and bigger on the screen over time (they used to be small in the upper left hand corner, but now they take up a quarter of the screen)

I bought, thinking this game was fixed and all the bugs were taken care of!!! NOPE!!! Its clunky and mini games freeze, and if for some reason you exit game….it freezes at splash screen when you re-open. Oh, and if you upgrade to Deluxe…welp….doesn’t register and requests you pay another 99 cents. Huge disappointment.
