I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years now and it has almost every feature i want. I like it better than all the other apps. The only thing i want is more apple health integrations but overall great!

Perfect app for the gym, very beginner friendly!
I love this app, perfect for personalizing and keeping all my different machine weights logged for me so I don’t have to worry about it. When I first started attending the gym I tried making an excel spreadsheet to help me track my machine weights but this app does it for me and really makes it fun to see which muscle groups I focus on more then others. The couch tips are super helpful and have been a game changer for me in form and weight level.
I do wish it was a little cheaper price-wise ($9.99 per month) but I definitely do recommend this app to all gym goers. I recommend at least trying

So close
It’s so close to being perfect. There’s just little things wrong with it. When I finish a set a timer pops up but it also covers the keyboard so I can’t make inputs for the next set. The timer doesn’t ding or notify you that time is up. When I click the check mark in the typing area, it just scrolls down on rep and weight. It doesn’t complete the set I’m filling out info for.
I haven’t tried the AI workout yet. Overall the interface is a bit clunky. Reordering exercises is cumbersome.

they truly need to add more workouts in there they have almost all of them but there are some small ones that i use and i know others do too that they need to add. they also need to change the setting for planks it shouldn’t be reps it should be seconds or minutes. overall great app i love how it keeps track of my workouts and reminds me to do them.

PAYWALL and 3 day split
That app is cool and has lots of features which can make tracking workouts more fun. Unfortunately, most of the features they advertise are behind paywalls. It gets worse too, even the bare minimum for a workout app is also behind a paywall. The app only lets you create 3 preset workouts that you can select when going to the gym. These presets you create have all the exercises for that day, with rep ranges, loaded. Have a four day split? You’re out of luck, gotta pay for that lavish luxury

Bloated Poorly Designed UI
Great in theory, but in practice the UI is next to unusable.
Want to lift and track your workout? Time to close out of the coach tips pop ups. Next close out of the timer pop up. Next close out of the recommended range pop up.
Want to modify the “AI generated” (single default) workout routine? You can’t. You have to delete it and all of your progress to make a new one from scratch.
If you’re looking for a good workout app, go with the original “Strong” app. It’s a one time purchase without subscription.

Big fan tbh, it is a little frustrating that after selecting a layout/pic and posting to feed - the layout you selected disappears and it’s just the normal pic no workout stats. Bummed about that bug and that i can’t have a “private” account or feed but! A month so far of using and i like it!!

Excellent for Beginners
This app is very informative and wonderful to work with as a beginner. It even has direction and extra help for each exercise which was very helpful. The only thing that would be nice to see would be some more basic bodyweight option for travel or perhaps a special workout to do on the road when a gym wasn’t available.

Same bugs for about a year now
This might be the first time reviewing an app but i tried the trial a -8 months ago and it wasnt that good of an app. I forgot to cancel the trial and i ended up paying the year. Ive tried to use it but then the same issues its had for months keep coming up. The idea is cool but the devs dont really care much about it.

big fan! i’m up on PRs and dropped from 270lb to 240lb
i’ve been using the app every day and have hit PRs every week! the app name speaks for itself, you will definitely get STRONGER using this.
personally i love that i can track each muscle group and get an accurate representation of what needs work/what needs rest. when you are in a workout, the app pre loads your previous reps so it is literally a press of a button to record your info.
the only downside with the app is the AI coaching, i haven’t really used it but do listen to when to push myself. i found that part is extremely accurat

Almost every app wants you to pay for their services. All I want is to track my workouts see what needs what.

Solid but needs updating
The app AI is a cool feature but the app is missing a lot of workouts I normally do at the gym. And if let’s say you’re doing farmers walks it only gives options for reps which doesn’t make sense as it’s time based. I also feel if you set strength as your goal the AI shouldn’t be trying to make you do 10 reps, strength training comes within the 4/5 rep range. Last is the community communication capability is lacking.. all you can do is like other feeds but not chat with each other and give motivation.

Needs work
I’m a paid subscriber and I like the app overall, but it needs a few things fixed, which I will outline below.
1. The rest timer sits on top of the keypad, meaning you can’t write out the next sets reps and weight amount unless you skip the timer. It would be much better if the timer was in another spot so it doesn’t hide the keypad.
2. Some more clarification on dumbbell-based workouts. It would be great to know if the app wants me to log the total weight of the dumbbells or if it wants me to enter the weight of one dumbbell.

Bring back the animals!!
Knowing how much mechanical items lifted is alright, but I would much rather know how many pandas, bears, or elephants I lifted. Animals are way cooler than TVs and motorbikes.

Bugged Update
The app was great up until the most recent update, the new update has upped the progress of my body chart out of nowhere so everything is now inaccurate. I could be intermediate in my highest exercise of a muscle group but it shows advanced on the muscle chart. What’s going on?

I really enjoy the constant updates you guys provide. The app continuously improves. It has genuinely increased my workout efficiency and improved my strength. Good App
This app has helped with my consistency and tracking my progress. It links to my health app but it doesn’t have a great interface on the apple watch. In the future I hope an update would allow the data to transfer to my activity app to help close my rings and make it more as accessible on my apple watch.
