The EDQ-MS app includes meal planning and recipes that have been custom designed by a qualified team of chefs, nutritionists, medical experts, and registered dietitians for the Efficacy of Diet on Quality of Life in Multiple Sclerosis (EDQ-MS) study. The intervention diets offered in EDQ-MS app include the Modified Paleo Elimination (MPE) Diet and Time Restricted Olive Oil Based (TROO) ketogenic diet. Recipes are designed to help meet key study diet components and recommendations such as servings of vegetables, number of carbs, and grams of protein. The EDQ-MS app is powered by Foogal and will support you by providing healthy recipes low in added sugars, and dense in nutrients without compromising the taste that are compliant with your assigned study diet. Our recipes will be customized to include the addition of olive oil in the Time Restricted Olive Oil Based (TROO) ketogenic diet and exclude restricted ingredients such as eggs, wheat, and dairy for the Modified Paleo Elimination (MPE) Diet. To maintain compliance and avoid any confusion, study participants will only be given access to the intervention diet they were assigned at randomization. With the EDQ-MS meal planner, you can easily create weekly meal plans – prepare an easy beef lunch on Sunday, a refreshing salad on Monday, and a delicious Italian inspired dinner on Tuesday. Each recipe on the EDQ-MS app has undergone thorough analysis with the expertise of Foogal staff.
