I couldn’t even connect it to my light bulb until I purchased one of three plans. I paid and then after that it didn’t even connect to my light and wouldn’t connect at all. I get screwed over twice in one day first by Walmart and then by these people.

Be warned that this app requires a payment to use…I didn’t want to pay a subscription fee for lightbulbs I assumed I’d be using for years to come, so I opted for the one-time $20 payment… Wish Id known that the app is not really functional before I did that. Like the many other people on here. Bought the Wiz bulbs and with them it said to download this app to use the bulbs. Could not use the bulbs until you reach into your wallet and spend the money. Once you have unlocked the app then you will not be able to set up/ or use your wiz bulbs. No matter how many times you try. Apple should have this company refund everyone’s money and pull the app from the store.

In fact if you are reading this and downloading the app to use the bulbs, do yourself a huge favor and just return them and get your money back. In order to use your bulbs and have the privelege to be able to actually use the color changing feature on them , you have to be willing to fork over a WEEKLY or MONTHLY subscription. Or you can pay the once lifetime fee which was like 20 or 30 bucks if i remember correctly. All to be able to have the privelege of using your light bulbs that you ALREAD

Spending 25 minutes just to download, install and navigate the app, let alone the sheer hassle, is NOT WORTH IT. I’m a tech-savvy guy, but this app makes no sense. I’ve never seen so many ad pop-ups and misleading click-bait for what should be simple. Plus, you can’t navigate around it wanting you to pay. Absolutely not! The expensive bulb is going right back to the store, and this app is going to die its tech death with delete.

App is garbage I won’t be buying any more related products and returning the ones I have. A bunch of bloatware which takes you on a wild goose chase and asks you to join all of the crapware ad supporting products! Companies should be ashamed of this type of marketing. I just wanted to connect a smart bulb and thought I try this one cause Feit wasn’t working in a remote part of my home, never again Philips, never again. I’ll walk the 10 miles back to the store just to return this garbage.

After downloading this app (mistakenly thinking it was the WIZ Philips-sanctioned app) I entered two different credit card numbers as prompted (both of which generated an error message which was suspicious as I used both of them regularly without issue). Shortly thereafter, I had to cancel and replace both credit cards for fraudulent use. Just a coincidence?

I bought these bulbs almost a year ago and could not use them to connect to my college’s internet. I was excited to try them out at home, but the app will not work unless you get a subscription to the app. You would think this would be somewhere on the box they are sold in. Terrible product. You pay a high price for them to just get you to use an app that promotes other apps and services. Unless you pay their fee, you will continue getting ads. Otherwise you cannot use all the features the bulb can offer. Just buy a regular bulb

Even with all that experience, I could not get a single light paired with spending extra money on really expensive subscriptions after 30 minutes of trying. This application feels infected with adware viruses. I’ll be returning the worthless bulb and deleting this horrible app.
