What’s New Version 4.7.25
This update is focused on making your walking tracker feel faster, smoother, and more reliable, especially if you explore big cities and have a lot of visited streets, route history, and progress data. Active walks are now saved more safely while you move, lock your phone, come back later, or finish a route. Loading screens for visited streets, progress, and route history now use cleaner skeleton states, so the app feels alive instead of frozen. Route history has also become lighter, with better previews, lazy loading for older walks, and clearer handling of interrupted or discarded routes. We added the current active walk to history, so it is easier to see that your adventure is still in progress. The new street discovery moment is now shown with a calmer snackbar instead of extra animation noise, because finding a new street should feel nice, not like a tiny fireworks factory. Map controls, onboarding, navigation, and tab bar details were polished to make exploring your city feel more natural. We also cleaned up debug noise and added better heavy-user testing, because your city walks should be the only thing putting in serious mileage.
Description
Streets is more than just a walking or running tracker—it turns every walk, run, or bike ride into an adventure.
Instead of simply counting steps, Streets gamifies your journey by highlighting the streets you’ve covered on the map. Watch your progress grow as more streets get filled in, motivating you to explore new neighborhoods and break out of your routine.
At the same time, Streets is a powerful fitness tool. It uses GPS tracking to accurately map your walk, run, or ride and includes a built-in pedometer (step counter) to track distance, steps, and calories burned.
Key Features:
• Explore every street – Streets highlights every road you travel, turning your city into a unique record of your walks, runs, and bike rides. Challenge yourself to complete every street.
• Track your fitness progress – Monitor distance, time, pace, and calories burned for each walk or run. The step counter ensures every step counts toward your goal.
• GPS-powered route tracking – Every route is recorded with precise GPS, so you can see exactly where you’ve been. It’s like your personal "map my walk" or "map my run" app.
• Route planner for custom walks – Use the built-in route planner to design and save custom walking, running, or biking routes. Discover new paths and keep every workout exciting.
• All-in-one tracking app – No need for multiple fitness apps. Whether you want to "track my walk," "track my run," or "map my ride," Streets has everything you need in one place.

Build 885050029v4.7.242026-07-01 20:13:28
This update is mostly about making progress, routes, and street stats clearer, faster, and less mysterious.
The app now understands your walks a bit better, which is useful, because apparently even walking around the city needs proper analytics in 2026.
Here’s what’s new:
- Added a new Progress area with current progress, weekly progress, records, achievements, total stats, and next mission.
- Added global statistics, so your walked streets, distance, steps, and progress are counted more correctly across different cities.
- Fixed cases where progress worked in one city but looked broken in another.
- Improved Total Stats and fixed mismatches where the numbers did not agree with the actual explored streets.
- Moved heavy route, planned route, and favorite place data from UserDefaults to Core Data.
- Added proper Core Data migration support for safer updates.
- Added thinner route lines, better map loading, and removed the gray map overlay.

Build 884341258v4.7.192026-04-24 18:25:22
This update is all about making your walk tracker feel faster, smarter, and less chaotic when you're out hunting for new streets. We made major improvements to how streets load across cities, so route tracking and map progress should feel much more reliable. Custom Areas also got a big upgrade, making it easier to focus on the exact neighborhood or zone you want to complete. We fixed a bunch of issues on the Visited Streets side, especially around remaining streets and area-specific progress. Route recovery and feedback flows are better too, because losing a walk in 2026 is just rude. If you use the app as a walking tracker, running tracker, route planner, or to map your walk and find new places, this version should feel noticeably better. There are also smoother notifications, better stability, and less hanging around in all the wrong places. Basically: more exploring, less "why is this doing that?"
Here's what's new:
- Added Custom Areas, so you can draw your own zone, name it, and complete the exact part of town you care about
- Improved area support across the app, including viewing, renaming, deleting, sharing, and switching between city and area progress
- Fixed multiple bugs in Visited Streets for Areas, including incorrect counts, wrong remaining streets, and showing streets outside the selected area
- Improved the "show remaining streets" experience, including better handling for selected Areas and cleaner street name normalization
- Reworked city street loading logic to make map data load more reliably across different cities and regions
- Improved OSM request logic, including smarter matching, lighter requests, coordinate-based loading, and fewer duplicate fetches
- Fixed cases where some cities or street datasets would fail to load correctly, including tricky edge cases in the US
- Reduced app hangs and freezes across startup, route flow, area creation, and other heavy screens
- Improved route saving and recovery, including support for restoring forgotten or interrupted walks
- Added a more rewarding new street celebration, with improved in-app feedback when you discover a new street
- Added notifications for newly completed streets, plus settings to control that experience
- Improved post-route flows, including better timing for review prompts, notification prompts, and feedback sheets
- Brought back and fixed onboarding paywall behavior
- Added paywall support for Area creation
- Improved the nearest new street experience with a cleaner presentation
- Refined top stats and progress UI, including better ordering, completion states, and cleaner behavior when goals are not set
- Updated parts of the map and menu UI, including layer switching, icons, buttons, sheets, and alignment fixes
- Improved feedback collection, email follow-up flow, and cancellation-reason prompts
- Expanded analytics and metrics to better understand route tracking, limits, notifications, subscription behavior, and user actions
- Improved crash reporting and diagnostics with better symbolication and monitoring support
Build 883881204v4.7.182026-04-08 15:43:07
This update makes loading city streets much faster and more stable, so your progress on the map appears without long waits. We added a list of unvisited streets and the ability to route directly to a specific street or the nearest new one, making every walk, run, or ride more engaging. The route history screen has been redesigned, and sharing now looks much better with a clean map of your new streets. Daily goals are here, like opening 2 new streets, adding a bit of challenge to your GPS tracking. We also improved the main paywall and final route screen to better highlight the value of Pro and advanced routing. Push notifications, metrics, and the core funnel were refined to improve the overall experience. Plus, we fixed a bunch of small but annoying issues, making the app smoother across all devices.
Here's what's new:
- Faster and more reliable loading of city streets
- Streets now continue loading even during an active route
- Retry logic added if streets fail to load
- Added list of unvisited streets with ability to open and route to them

- Added daily goals like "open 2 new streets" with progress tracking
- Added goal completion feedback
- Updated main paywall with clearer value and better CTA
- Added "Unlock more streets" on the final route screen
- Improved pause state visibility during a route
- Renamed and clarified route control actions (Continue / Finish)
- Improved GPS feedback when accuracy is low
- Added push notifications after first route and on day 2-3
- Improved onboarding and core funnel tracking
- Added more detailed analytics and user data in metrics
- Fixed multiple UI issues on small screens
- Fixed overlaps and layout bugs across map and cards

We’ve added a smoother full-screen paywall, refined pricing, removed the lifetime option, and improved subscription placements and tracking. We also fixed several issues across the app, including improvements to planned routes, location handling, and overall stability.
Build 882613255v4.7.142026-02-23 23:28:54
This update introduces Random Route generation based on your selected distance, with support for miles, steps, time, or calories. The map now automatically focuses on the generated route, with improved visuals including dashed planned routes and previous routes shown in grey. We’ve added a new Explore overlay that gradually reveals the areas you walk, with a refreshed green style and smoother rendering. The interface has been refined with updated left-side modes, consistent buttons, smoother animations, and multiple bug fixes for a more stable experience.
Build 878962537v4.7.122025-12-08 05:56:42
This update introduces the largest set of improvements we have ever released. Almost every part of the app has been upgraded based on user feedback, with new tools for planning, tracking, viewing, and managing your walks.
