We heard your feedback that there might be too many notifications and we are doing something about it! - We broke out follow and song rec request... sorry for the spam - The "ask for a song rec" button is now back onto the profile page - Daily limit lowered to 3... sorry again for those who are affected

Quick fix in this one! - It's now set to default to NOT send the decibel to any of your followers. You have to manually select who you want to send the decibel to - After you send the decibel, that outbound chat box is now hidden and you can easily find all your ongoing chats We may or may not add more genres in the next one :)

We reworked the nav bar and the app is easier to use now! You can especially get to the swiping part faster :P

Start sending songs to each other in DM :) Now you can answer all your song rec requests by directly sending a song!

Time to DM and meet new friends! - Vibe with someone on the home feed? Slide into their DM! - Send a song as an icebreaker and attach a message... - Each song rec will now be a chat invite. If the recipient likes the post, chat! This is a new chapter for decibel... We significantly restructured the app and took out a lot of old features. Give us your feedback as we navigate this new journey!!!

This one is mainly bug fixes and minor UI/UX improvements... BUT, we moved "search" to the home screen now and we added the ability to search decibels, groups, and users!! So now you can see all the decibels for Tyler, Frank Ocean, Mitski, Joji, or whoever you love and find others who have made a decibel for the same song :) GLHF! back for more next week

Let's. Start. Chatting! We've been really thinking about what a group playlist should look like. Is it a group? Is it a playlist? Is it a bulletin board? We think we found it. The second tab is now the "group" tab. Create and share your decibels to groups, and directly chat with others there. Pictures and music can sometimes be a million words, but words are often the easiest way to connect with each other :) Other improvements include UI changes to viewing other people's profiles/decibels, comment UX changes, profile customization UX changes, notification changes, and added account deletion flow. Please give us feedback and we will actively update this version to make sure the new tab is working for everyone!! Ultimately, we want decibel to feel like a 24/7 music festival where we can celebrate our favorite music, share with others, show up in style, meet some new friends, and have a good freaking time :P

Ummm so what has changed this time... well, it looks a bit different :p - We changed the nav bar to a more traditional layout, so the screens won't look as cluttered as before! - We added the option to send a surprise song rec to one of your followers. You can make someone's day better hehe - We took out the background playback thing... not a fan - Added "copy button" for text and sticker! - Added color picker for text and drawing! - From now on, we will autofill the genres if you are using apple music as a music source. You will still have the option to change them before posting Saving the bigger change for next week. BRB.

Music will now keep playing, it stays on the same page, and looks 10x better - More improvements to the onboarding flow - More UX improvements to the notification tab - We added background playback in this update. This update packed a couple of my favorite things... - We've significantly simplified app navigation and we'll continue to do so in the following updates to provide an easy-to-understand experience - Playlist tab just got a makeover! It's definitely, definitely sexier now - Add your live photos as GIFs to your decibels!!!! Tap on the repeat button to turn them into slow-mo bounce GIFs - Move. stickers. forward. and. backward. - Napster is now an option for the music source - Onboarding fixes, UI improvements, bug fixes, the usuals... ok have a good weekend we got bigger updates coming next week!

Fixing an annoying bug in the previous version.... sorry! ------------------------------------------------------------ Original update notes: a lot of smaller changes here and there... here me out: - CREATION CENTER is now a lot more simplified. Tap on "+" and the keyboard will be ready for you to search for the song - Start sharing decibels and your profile to INSTAGRAM and SNAP STORIES. It's cute, I think :) - Apple music users: good news for you. If you hear a good song that you love, tap on the apple music icon on the top right to open the song directly in the apple music app! - Playlist tags and daily prompt tags are different now (more to come on this one) - UI improvements for the playlist tab and playlist creation process - UI improvements for self profile view - Onboarding improvements - Notification improvements Huuuu, Zzzzzz, more to come, brb!
