Hi all, We’re excited about this release. We introduce the Ontime score. This gives us a way to see in one place how, fasting, sleep and light work together. The higher the better, and you don’t need to be a superhero. It’s all about the routine. Timing is everything!

Description

Health and fitness in daily habits with Ontime Health. Here we take the phrase ‘timing is everything’ and make it a practical, paid-subscription program for health and performance. Get into your daily routine through check ins related to four areas of health, sleep, fasting, activity and light (e.g. sun and screen time). By developing these daily habits we get into a routine. A routine measuring streaks of fasting, sleep, light health and activity. This creates a lifestyle for top health and performance based on science. While diet and nutrition have always been a mainstay of health. Now, WHEN we eat is important along with what we eat. World Class Research The Ontime app brings the user the simple rules for smart and easy fasting into our life. The fasting or intermittent fasting approach to health has been studied for years in the lab of Satchin Panda, PhD one of the most published and widely cited circadian rhythms and fasting researchers. Small changes are the most sustainable. At Ontime we take our inspiration from the decades of research from Dr Panda. Focused on realistic goals while recognizing everyone has a life to accommodate. Fasting and meal timing Fasting has become a common regiment based in part on this research and now we’re introducing simple daily fasting routines customized to fit goals and interests Sleep and recovery Adding in the power of sleep. Sleep is a critical part of the day leading to further performance benefits. We know that after a good night's sleep its smart to start the day with a fast before our first meal, limiting screen time and workout timing are factors brought together for better sleep performance. Light and Dark mode - Start each day, but watch your screen time! Then light and activity as part of the daily routing will complement the fasting to optimize when our body systems are working. We want our body to be able to focus naturally on the daily cycles of recovery, feeding, exercise and rebuilding. Light and dark themes help. Exercise Activity and timing of workouts are also key to optimal health. For example, exercise timing for best muscle performance is an exciting part of the new learnings. Body clocks are set to support physical activity in the earlier parts of the day, and this is enhanced even more when you are following an intermittent fasting routine. Exercise in the morning, especially in the sun, will help you to feel more rested and awake We are excited to close the gap between the top athletes learning, living and playing longer at the top of their game and bringing that same experience to our users. Performance and Longevity Increasingly timing is everything in how top performers stay in the game longer. The learnings from this longevity research are included throughout the content where you will find health tips and content on the latest research. Focus on challenges important to you Whether you want to lose weight, gain weight, live healthier longer, improve your energy the protocols developed from understanding circadian rhythms are here to help. The challenges explored in science include pre-diabetes, diabetes, cancer, liver disease, obesity and heart disease. In collaboration with leading physicians Dr Panda’s lab has conducted research including thousands of data points to help see us shift our health back to peak performance. These topics have been featured in many great health science discussions over the years. In particular between Satchin Panda and Dr Rhonda Patrick. More recently Dr Panda’s protocol was detailed by Andrew Huberman from the Huberman Lab. We’re delighted to make this app incorporate more detail since the early days when Dr Panda and other's works inspired many fasting apps. Dr Panda authored The Circadian Diabetes Code and The Circadian Code.
