What’s New Version 6.1
Canada has been added for the Provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and Northwest Territories. These are kilometre posts, but they function just the same in the app.
Dual direction support on the New York State Thruway.
Custom markers point layer has been added so they can be turned on and off independently. The mile marker is now above the pin instead of below in order to make it easier to see when placing.
An option to show your current city in addition to the county is now available.
Both Streetview and LookAround can be selected on any marker where available.
For Mile-1 Pro users:
Custom markers can have an optional title.
Custom marker can also have the marker icons changed.

Even if you lose your data connection, Mile-1 will still show your milepost.
"Hey Siri, Get my milepost in Mile-1." Just ask Siri to get your current milepost. Check out our CarPlay widgets too. Real-time mile marker locations right on your dashboard.
Need directions or distance? Tap any milepost. The navigation button will use Maps to show you the fastest route to get there. Perfect for towing and roadside assistance.
Click the share button to send your current location via messages, email, or your favorite app.
Closures, construction, and incidents are often reported using mileposts as a reference. Mile markers function like an address on the highway. Quickly and easily search for these locations. It's the perfect companion for incident reporting and maintenance.

Get unlimited usage of search, navigation, and custom marker locations. Auto-tag and markup photos with accurate mile markers and timestamps. Also included is a latitude/longitude to mile marker converter tool.
Many performance improvements, layout adjustments, and bug fixes are in this update. On the search tab, the minimum and maximum mile marker within the selected range is now shown. You can also simply type in the mile marker you want instead of using the scroll wheel. CarPlay widgets are updated with improved formatting.

The Widgets are here!!
Add small, medium, or large widgets to your Home Screen. It will show your current mile marker when close to a route with markers, or your latitude/longitude when you are not. A progress bar on the widget show the minimum and maximum mile markers on your route.
The main app has also been updated to show your latitude/longitude if you are not near a route with mile markers instead of "No markers nearby."
These widgets are also available on your Today View.
On the Lock Screen, a similar rectangular widget is available and a circular one as well. The circular Lock Screen widget is a gauge that shows your current marker and the minimum/maximum mile markers along that route.
Since widgets are coming soon to CarPlay, these are helpful widgets to add to CarPlay.
Several performance improvements and bug fixes have been made with faster loading map data and searching.

Landscape mode is now available on iPhone. There is also an additional option in the settings for the map tracking. The map no longer has to remain locked with north up, you can turn the tracking mode on and the map will rotate in the direction the device is facing.
