This minor update fixes a few important bugs and polishes the "I Pick You" effect

Celebrate Valentine's Day with the new "I Pick You" AR musical experience by Big Chungus. The effect is available under "Clips" section of the app and features custom AR effects designed specially for the song.

Fill your room with emoji that dance along to your music using the new Emoji visualizer. Tweak the effect for the music by changing emoji or switching between the two modes: explosion and swirl. Head tracked spatial audio support. When using headphones with an accelerometer—such as the AirPods 3 or AirPods Pro—Beatsy can now track your head when spatial audio is enabled. This makes it sound like the music is coming from the location of the visualizer in the world.

The new Immersive Wave visualizer distorts the world around you with three dimensional waves. The distortion also follows you as you move through the world. Note that Immersive visualizers require a device with a LiDAR sensor.

Beatsy App Clip codes now support additional visualizer settings, giving you more reality warping music effects to discover out in the real world

This update adds a new visualizer called "Ferro" inspired by magnetic fluids. You can configure many aspects of this visualizer, including the size of the bumps and how quickly they rotate in response to music. This lets you create unique augmented reality effects

This update improves spatial audio support. Music will now get louder when you scale up the visualizer and softer as you scale it down. The visualizer's scale also effects how quickly sound falls off as you move away from it. Sound falls off much more slowly with a large visualizer vs a smaller one.

Try the new spatial audio option. This is best experienced with headphones. When enabled, it makes any music being played sound like it is emanating from the location of the visualizer. The farther you are from the visualizer, the softer the music will be. The music will also shift between your left and right earbud depending on your orientation to the visualizer

This update adds support for AppClips. Now you can launch Beatsy just by scanning an App Clip code. Codes can also download specific songs, letting you discover and interact with music in a whole new way. Stay tuned for more updates!

The minor update makes improvements to the control panels and also fixes a few minor bugs.

This update adds a new visualizer: spectrum. This flexible new visualizer shows the audio spectrum of the current song. It includes three display modes and four controls for adjusting its behavior.

This minor update includes a few fixes and improvements: • Fixed bug that could cause microphone to not initialize on first launch. • Updated placement indicator. • Improved foreground occlusion. It should now be more resilient and better handle cases where the visualizer goes below the physical surface. • Improved performance when foreground occlusion is enabled.

Thanks for a great launch! We're continuing to make Beatsy better based on your feedback. Some highlights from this update: • Added foreground occlusion support for devices with a LiDAR sensor. This uses scene depth data to hide parts of the visualizer that appear behind real world objects. Occlusion is disabled by default but can be enabled in the lighting menu. • Tap and hold the music icon to adjust music volume. This is useful if you want to record music while also recording from the mic. • The 'Wave' visualizer can now push down into the surface instead of always going upwards. • Audio playback now pauses when you open the share view. • Various optimizations. Rotating and scaling should now be much smoother on older devices.
