Irk Bitig

Irk Bitig is a book of omens, written in Old Turkic language. This is an original piece of history, that is considered as one of the key examples and sources of the Turkic Mythology. "Irk" means "omen", and "Bitig" means "book" in Old Turkic language. If you would like to re-live the old times, and read your fortune like the ancient Turks did, just roll the dice, and face your destiny. You can also share the result on social media or send it to another friend. Just use the "Share" menu after rolling the dice. Use the tag #irkbitig to share your omen on Twitter! It is also possible to see your latest results omens via the "History" menu, and all your good/bad stats so far are available through the "Statistics" menu option. In addition, you can also study the omens, see them in their original writing, transliteration, and translation. This application features the whole Irk Bitig in digital form, all the omens are available in Old Turkic script, and the original book images are included for reference. You can view the text in its original font, or in a modern sans-serif typeface variant. I am actively developing this application, and many interesting features such as watchOS and macOS support, Siri integration, and a full dictionary will be added in the future.
