Release Notes 3.28.0 Week of June 30, 2026 Version 3.28.0 focuses on platform stability and reliability — making Optii faster and more dependable — alongside targeted improvements to the Job Status view, mobile job actions, job scheduling, and housekeeping filtering. Job Status View — Rebuilt - A ground-up rebuild of Optii's most heavily used module, replacing the legacy architecture with a faster, more reliable foundation. - Status columns now load independently, so the board becomes usable faster and columns no longer wait on each other. - Drag-and-drop between status lanes is now smooth and reliable, with accurate job counts and predictable sorting and filtering. - The Job Status view is now fully supported on mobile, so supervisors can manage operations from the floor. Mobile — Job Actions Drawer - Job actions now open in a bottom drawer when you tap Actions, instead of navigating to a separate screen. - Place rooms on Do Not Disturb, No Service Required, and other statuses in fewer taps. - The drawer opens in context, so attendants stay on the current job or job list while acting mid-shift. Smarter OOO/OOS Handling - Projected Out of Order / Out of Service blocks received while a room is still occupied now stay pending until the room is vacant. - Prevents premature job cancellations and incorrect room-state changes while guests are still checked in. - No manual intervention required — Optii handles the transition automatically once the room clears. Project Auto Cancel - Projects can now be configured to automatically cancel all Not Started jobs at the end of each cycle (11:59 PM on the last day). - Keeps the project board clean, removes manual end-of-cycle cleanup, and ensures reporting reflects real completed work. Checklists • Fixed a persistent issue where checklist items were displaying out of order on existing jobs, even after the template order had been updated. This fully resolves the ordering problem for all jobs going forward. • Resolved a bug where clicking checklist checkboxes was not saving — selections would appear to register but revert immediately. • Fixed checklist templates not saving when assigned to a Repeating Job template — the selection was being lost on save and not carrying through to generated jobs. Housekeeping List View • Fixed the Auto-Assign button not updating when filtering by location or floor — it was incorrectly assigning all jobs rather than only those in the filtered view. • Resolved the Auto-Assign button not activating automatically when a new timeline was created, requiring a manual page refresh to enable it. OOO/OOS • Fixed an issue where rooms configured with a "No Job Needed" early removal rule were still generating a departure or check job when returned from Out of Order ahead of schedule. Release Notes 3.27.2 Week of May 27, 2026 Version 3.27.2 is a focused hotfix release addressing stability and UI issues introduced in 3.27.0. Breaks • Fixed an issue where Breaks configured in Settings would disappear after use, causing the feature to stop working entirely until reconfigured. • Resolved a bug where Breaks were not functioning on mobile — team members could not initiate a break from the app, and an active break started on web was not reflected on mobile. Housekeeping List View • Fixed the auto-refresh not working, requiring users to manually reload the page to see updated job assignments. • Resolved an issue where filtering by job action was zeroing out the counts on all other job type bubbles. • Fixed long tag names overlapping ETA/ETD and special status fields in the List View. • Resolved jobs from previous days incorrectly appearing in the Assigned tab when no jobs were assigned to the timeline for the current day. Offline Mode Your team can now view jobs, update statuses, complete checklists, and add notes even when offline. All changes sync automatically the moment connectivity is restored — no manual refresh needed. Breaks Team members can now log breaks directly in the app. Managers see live break indicators on the Timeline, including break type and elapsed time. Permanent Location Notes Add a note to any room and it automatically appears on all associated jobs — past and future. Location notes stay with the room, not the reservation. Service Jobs in My Jobs A new Service tab in My Jobs gives team members one place to see all their assigned work — both housekeeping and service jobs — without navigating to the job board. This release brings smarter housekeeping automation, a brand-new performance report, and a faster start to every shift. Here's what's new: Housekeeping Rules Enhancements Key improvements to how Optii handles room status and job creation automatically: • Early Departure Logic – Rooms now retain a Dirty status after an early checkout, even if previously marked Clean or Inspected, ensuring the correct cleaning job is always triggered. • Due Out OOO Room Logic – Rooms returning from Out of Order or Out of Service status now automatically receive the correct cleaning task, with no manual steps required. • Back-to-Back Logic – Stayover jobs are no longer incorrectly created when a room move is involved. This release brings smarter housekeeping automation, a brand-new performance report, and a faster start to every shift. Here's what's new: Housekeeping Rules Enhancements Key improvements to how Optii handles room status and job creation automatically: • Early Departure Logic – Rooms now retain a Dirty status after an early checkout, even if previously marked Clean or Inspected, ensuring the correct cleaning job is always triggered. • Due Out OOO Room Logic – Rooms returning from Out of Order or Out of Service status now automatically receive the correct cleaning task, with no manual steps required. • Back-to-Back Logic – Stayover jobs are no longer incorrectly created when a room move is involved. Skip Option for Inspections A new action giving inspectors greater flexibility within their workflow: • Inspectors can now skip an inspection step directly from the inspection workflow. • Skipped inspections are tracked separately, giving management an accurate view of true inspection volumes and timing.
