Gur Shabad Keertan app is Built to Accelerate Teaching and Learning Gurmat Keertan. This app is designed with one goal in mind, and that is to accelerate the teaching and learning process of Gurmat Music wherever you go, with or without real instruments. Inspiration to design this application comes from the fact that there are some of the best books available by great composers/raagis who have added notations in various taals in the designated Raagas. Couple of books by Dr. Gurnam Singh Ji, Bhai Avtar Singh Ji and Gurcharan Singh Ji. For such notations, beginners find difficult to read those notations. To make it easy, there are tons of online videos, many of Kirtanias have contributed. Features List: - GurShabadKeertan brings you a complete Notation player which shows you Taal, Notes, Gurbani (in notation format) and Gurbani in complete form. - You have basic and important instruments: Tanpura, Tabla, Harmonium, Rabab, Sur Peti. - Sur Mandal, Manjira and other instruments will be provided with future upgrades. - This app introduces you to the 31 Raags of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and brings new compositions composed by Dr. Gurnam Singh Ji himself. - So you have 31 Raags, Aaroh, Avroh, Pakad notations Sur Vishars, Shaan of Each Raag and One Beginner level composition for each Raag. - App also highlights a level based approach for learning 31 Raag, e.g. Raags from Bilawal Thaat could be the first Raags, a very beginner student can start with. - You can export notations in PDF format with complete Raag, Shabad, Notation, instructor notes etc. Since this app is designed only for iOS/iPadOS because of limitations on other platforms, users are provided an option to export Audio loops of the notations to other platform users. - You can export notation as a MIDI file to use in your favourite DAW. - One of the most powerful features is to be able to Share the notations with others. Example, as an Instructor you could share the notation with students and ask them to practice and come back. - In your teaching/learning process, you want to record and share with others, e.g. as Instructor you likely want to send your recording to a student or student want to share with the instructor. This app gives you an option to do Notation and Audio Recording. - On top of Audio Recording, you also have an option to do Audio + Screen Recording. This allows for review of Sur,Taal, Gurbani and by highlighting things like timing of singing vs notation player, correct pronunciation, etc. - This app brings you a complete Tabla/Jodi Player as well with most commonly used taals and especially in Gurmat Music and in a beautiful and intuitive way. - A highly responsive Pitch monitor to practice and improve your voice or for tuning instruments. (There is another App which I developed called SaajTuner and it will be decommissioned soon and will be integrated with GurShabadKeertan). - This app was not possible without BaniDB which is the most accurate and complete Gurbani Database from Khalis Foundation and hence the app provides you complete Shabads with Transliteration, Translation Options etc, so you have complete Shabad in one app and you don’t need to open e.g. Side by Side.
