What’s New Version 2.0

This update takes HealthScanner beyond simple tracking. You can now get smarter summaries based on your recent data and clearer insights into changes in glucose, medications, blood pressure, and weight. We also improved medication tracking, made it easier to keep readings and daily context together, and updated key screens across the app. HealthScanner is becoming more than a logbook — it now helps you see patterns in your diabetes data with less routine and less manual work.

Description

HealthScanner is built for people with type 2 diabetes who are tired of routine logging and endless manual input. Instead of typing numbers from different devices every day, you use one camera button to photograph your glucose meter, blood pressure monitor, scale, medication package, or blister, and the app helps turn that into organized data for tracking and analysis. The idea for HealthScanner came from real life. I am a software engineer who was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. After that, my wife, who has a medical background, took my monitoring, diet, and daily activity seriously. She follows new trends, studies new approaches, and keeps in touch with doctors around the world. I, on the other hand, did not want health tracking to become another daily burden. So I built an app focused on one simple goal: collect as much useful information as possible with one button, with minimal routine, and make it easier to understand what is happening over time. HealthScanner is not tied to one brand or one device. No Bluetooth pairing is required. If you use different glucose meters, different blood pressure monitors, or different scales, you can still capture your readings with the camera and keep everything in one place. You only need to enter a few basics once, such as your height, age, and optionally your name. After that, the app is designed around the easiest possible flow: take a photo, get the result, and keep your data organized automatically. The app helps you track glucose, blood pressure, pulse, weight, medications, and A1C in one place. It supports glucose units in mg/dL and mmol/L, includes an A1C calculator, and lets you add useful context such as morning, before meals, after meals, after exercise, or before bed. You can also add notes about food, activity, and daily events, set reminders for checks and medication routines, review trends and summaries, create reports and charts, export data to PDF, and use Apple Health integration. What makes HealthScanner different is not just tracking. It is built to help you understand how your glucose, medications, blood pressure, weight, timing, meals, and daily habits connect. Instead of being just another logbook, it helps turn everyday data into practical summaries so you can see what changed, what may be affecting it, and which patterns are starting to appear. HealthScanner will continue to grow with new features over time. The app also connects you to our social channels, where we share updates, health-related news, and new ideas we are exploring. HealthScanner is intended for tracking and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
