We are pleased that you are using our tonies app. Our App-Tonies are always hard at work for you. In this update, they have once again worked on improvements. If your mobile phone memory is full during a recording, you can now save your recording until then. We have also optimised some steps in the setup process of the Toniebox: The request for access rights has been corrected. WLAN names (SSIDs) can now also be entered manually. Occasionally, it can happen that the set up process was successful despite the code word "hedgehog". This is now displayed. Do you have questions or feedback? Very disappointed with this Tonie. Not only is it expensive, but it doesn't even include the actual songs from the movie. Instead, the songs are re-recorded and sung by different voices, which takes away from the experience. For the price, I expected the original soundtrack and characters' voices. My child noticed the difference immediately. Definitely not what I was expecting.

The app works fine, The content is lacking. Many links to support are insufficient. It takes forever to get to the right place to reset WiFi or to add new tonies. It’s quite frustrating needing to go thru multiple WiFi connections for set up and it’s on the website not the app where this is easily done. Hope improvements can be made to this user experience.

We have Tonies and Yoto. Yoto was MUCH easier for our 3 year old (now 4) than our Tonies player because it is nearly impossible to fast forward and rewind the Tonie Box and we’ve had several bugs with it in general. I’d say as soon as kids are big enough to not mouth or be extremely rough with cards I would make the switch. The cards are more durable than we had thought before purchasing and they have a system to make any you have purchased easily, and content is much more affordable and transfers to CarPlay without needing to bring anything along. Please add Dark Mode and Auto Timers to the App Experience
This review is directly aimed at the Tonie app experience. The product itself is fantastic for our little one. Two pain points that need addressing for the app UX are: 1. Dark Mode and 2. Auto-Sleep Timers. Dark Mode: As a daily user, I’m setting my kid’s Tonie’s sleep timer in dim or no lighting. The app’s bright, white UI hurts my eyes and alerts my child. Dark mode would help alleviate this issue. Auto-Timers: My child has a tendency to wake up in the middle of the night and turn his Tonie on to fall back asleep. This has been helpful, however I also wake up and have to turn on sleep

This is a great app, and most of it is screen reader friendly, but not all of it. I'm blind, and I love that I can check the battery level, and I can tell which Tonies we have in our collection. There are a couple of issues that I have though. I use voiceover, the screen reader on the iPhone because I'm blind, and it's nearly impossible to set the maximum volume and other things that have a slider. Another problem that I have is, we have over 20 tonies that I need to review, and the first time I reviewed one, it took me to the website and I was able to do it. After that, whenever I click on th

Ok, I guess. But so many missed opportunities for improvement. For example, why not have easy controls on the app for controlling sound and on/off from app? (Not just the timer?). If you want to get a toy that you put the figure on top and it plays music — that’s not this box. You need to download an app, find your WiFi password, it won’t connect, reset everything. Got it working but you can’t do anything like adjust the volume without your app or the phone — so good luck when the grandparents are visiting.

Overall, the Toni idea is good. However, I changed my WiFi and I had to do a factory reset to my Toni to adjust to the new WiFi. In fact, I have to do a factory reset every time I take it with me to a hotel! The setup needs to be brainless and quick because I have small children who, when left waiting for me, can cause commotion and I am more likely to make a mistake in the set up. Very frustrating!

More recently my toniebox will stop playing sound even though the lights are reactive to the tonies. It will then refuse to reset/shutoff no matter how many times I try and will not work. I have to put it in sleepmode and hope for the best when it comes out of it, meanwhile my baby is crying and extremely upset that her sounds stopped playing. Wish there was a way to force shut down/restart through the app or some kind of support
