Chromatic Memory (PSY0) * All colors are now available. A bug previously limited the test to blue and white.

New: Chromatic Memory (PSY0) * In this new Memory, you must recall the color from two steps back (N−2) instead of numbers. This test replaces the Numeric Memory as of 2024. General Aeronautical Culture (PSY0) * Updated 2 questions and added 6 new ones that may appear on the exam. Modulo (PSY0) * Board solutions are now color-coded. * The number of pieces to place now matches the real exam. A calculation bug previously produced too many pieces. Multitasking (PSY0) * Adjusted test duration and difficulty; there are notably many more calculations to verify. * Visuals are closer to the real exam. * A visual indicator warns you if you press the wrong direction during tracking. * Previous results for this test have been cleared to avoid interfering with the new version.

Sustained Attention (PSY1): New variant with similar symbols that are harder to differentiate. Sustained Attention (PSY1): Added 4 customizable parameters: type of similar symbols, matching with memorization, number of rows, and columns in the grids. Working Memory II (PSY1): Questions now refer to N-1 or N-2 calculations instead of always referring to the initial calculations.

Version 24.8 of EPLtest introduces PSY0 practice exams to enhance your preparation, fixes several bugs, and optimizes the application for better compatibility and performance across various devices.

General * The list of tests to train for PSY1 of Air France Cadets has been updated based on the latest tests. (We encourage you to also practice the classics of the “Old PSY1 tests”. This paid off for PSY0 with the return of the Hanoi Tests!) * We have put the old PSY0 tests in their own tab, quite separate from the PSY1. * It is now possible to search for any test by name from the sidebar (or the drawer menu on mobile.) * Hovering over the Stanine result graph of a test correctly displays the explanatory text. Sustained attention (PSY1) * The dials and answers are no longer arranged randomly (slight simplification.) It is still possible to train with the old variant whose dials are mixed. * Added 3 new customizable settings: Memory duration (sec), Shuffle dials, Shuffle responses. Cube Unfolding (PSY1) * We have extensively revised this test to more closely match that of the exam. It is still possible to train with the old variant. * The test is now split into two distinct difficulty variants. You can therefore train at level 2 without having to go through level 1 (like for mental arithmetic.) * Added 4 new customizable parameters: Number of cubes, Pattern shape, Check the first face, Filling the faces. Psychomotor (PSY1) * The calculation part consists of an equation rather than a mini problem (simplification.) * We disabled the bad hardware simulation, which deliberately ignored certain button and key presses. We added this feature because some of you were extremely confused by this issue during the review. As this no longer seems relevant, and was sometimes wrongly attributed to a malfunction of EPLtest, we have deactivated this functionality from the test variants offered by default. * Added an “Exam” variant with the same timings. General aeronautical culture (PSY0) * Updated with questions released in 2023, as well as similar questions.
