Portrait mode isn’t just for photos. With BOCA, you can shoot videos with a beautiful depth-of-field blur effect. Depth-of-field is the videographer’s term for a blurred background that leaves the subject looking crisp and sharp. Tweak the blur effect just the way you want by dragging the slider — add more or less blur to get just the right look. Your videos will end up looking amazing! BOCA simulates the effect of a photographer’s lens by using depth information from the iPhone’s TrueDepth or dual cameras. Check the compatibility list below to ensure BOCA works with your device. The iPhone XR only supports the camera on the front of the phone (the selfie camera). The iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus only support the camera on the back of the phone. The iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 do not have compatible cameras.
